We decided to try "The Trees" after spending many years staying in the Four farthings B and B (a sister bed and breakfast) and what a demotion we even decided to drive all the way back to Northamptonshire instead of staying in the Trees, we arrived and the lady was really nice but the rooms OMG the bedding haven't seen a washing machine for years.

Me and my partner stayed for a couple of days here and I have no idea where the bad reviews come from.
The hosts are really nice, welcoming and friendly and would do absolutely anything for you.
Clean rooms towels and bedding and comfy bed.
Definitely a home from home atmosphere.
I'd recommend to anyone who wants a comfy home style stay.

Nobody there on arrival, once in, the room was filthy, dead flys on the window ledge, dirty en suite, with toilet seat hanging off,the shower, sink and loo hadn't been cleaned properly in a month of Sundays, no towels, they were on the line, no loo roll, the owner had gone to buy some, along with food for breakfast, the room was very dusty,a garden table and chairs as furniture, one channel on the TV (remote didn't work),bedding was minging (didn't notice until we got back to the room quite late), bobbly sheet and stained quilt cover, just hoping it was toothpaste! In the morning (very early) there was a note on the door saying "breakfast cancelled, oven broke", the whole place was broke, do not stay here,so unkept...

Really really pleasantly surprised. Clean and very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious . Great value for money , we expected cheap and nasty but honestly can't complain with this b&b. If we're ever in hull again we'd definitely stay here!! Thank you .
