“Fantastic accomodation with everything we could have asked for”

Great accommodation which catered for a large group for a family birthday event with ages from baby to grandparent, totalling 14 people and 2 dogs. We rented the Glassonby Old Hall and Jenny's Croft and both were very clean, well set up, and we lacked for nothing. We arranged Jilly for catering one evening and the quality and service superb.

We would certainly recommend the location, and Jilly for the catering for a special occasion.

Stayed here with three generations of the family over Easter - had a fantastic time . Really impressed with the layout and facilities - lots of space and much thought gone into the design and fittings . Great location with walks from the door to Greystoke - nice pub and village shop.

Little things much appreciated such as when the sun came out a BBQ appeared already stocked with spare charcoal . There really was no shortage of anything you need.

Really was a special trip and would recommend to all

“Fantastic lakeland retreat - don't tell anyone!”

On arrival was really pleased to be greeted by the aga! Having never cooked on one before we relished the challenge. Even without a grill it made mincemeat of a cooked breakfast!

The kitchen is better equipped than mine at home. You'll want for no implement. Even down to cling film and foil - the things you don't expect.

The bedrooms are very comfortable - I'd even say luxurious. The bed and pillows seemed to swallow you up.

The living room was also really comfortable and the iPod Dock together with wifi enabled us to access our full library of music which was also really welcome.

The children (both large and small) enjoyed the mini snooker table cleverly disguised under the dining room table.

The outdoor space is also great although I never did find the BBQ but I'm sure it exists.

The utility room meant that we didn't come home with mountains of washing which always seem to take the edge off a lovely holiday.

Overall, we were really pleased to have selected Cazenovia Hall for our holiday.

Just one thing, ask for the key box code in advance of your arrival! Otherwise you might be locked out like us when the house manager and owners couldn't respond to our calls. This didn't spoil our break though.

Hi Lee, Thank you for your review and we are really pleased that you all had a great visit to Cazenovia Hall. We hope that you will come back again soon. We normally put the Weber BBQ equipment & garden furniture away from November through end April for the winter season but are always happy to get this out on request or if there is a sudden burst of hot and sunny weather as can happen up in Cumbria & the Lake District!! :)

Cazenovia Hall is an amazing Holiday Let: I agree with the other reviews that it really does have the wow factor. We were really impressed with the level of cleanliness and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch with the essentials we needed and normally forget to bring! We felt so at home that we didn't want to go out but thankfully the amazing weather we had motivated us to venture out. It has been a brilliant, relaxing stay. Thank you and we hope to come again soon!

“Fantastic place for a group - can't find fault”

I stayed here recently as part a large birthday party group. The first impression is genuinely 'Wow!" Entry is into a large and beautiful kitchen/dining area, equipped with everything you could need, from an aga cooker and a dishwasher to a snooker table hiding beneath the dining table! A very generously filled welcome hamper of food and drinks sits in a lovely hamper.
There's also a huge lounge, with a very welcome log fire with plenty of logs.

Rooms are all en suite, and my double bed was extremely comfortable.

Overall, the place was very clean, nicely decorated, tastefully furnished and a great venue for a family party or a group of friends.

Searched the internet for days trying to find a place for the family for my sons birthday,
we looked a couple of time at this place and could not make our mind, but am I glad we did fantastic, well furnished, spacious great grounds (pity the weather was bad) but you don't need the weather you could stay here for the duration and not go out.
I have no complaints at all and the owners were so helpful no complaints at all.
I could fill this page with pictures.
we will be back again
