Lovely place and staff. Did not have to wait long for table,even thou very busy! Get the impression,always busy,as so nice. Only two of us,so small table required. Food was delicious,we ordered the Seafood Linguine and side of bread,best seafood meal we ever had. We could hear people around us saying how good their meal was too. Puddings looked gorgeous but too full to try. Portions ample in mains and starter. We will definitely be calling in for tea here next visit to the Apple pie rooms(also perfect)

We got a very good cued ham plate and lamb as main course. The wine and the limoncello were also good. But the atmosphere was a bit too hectic and noisy.

Lovely to see that this wonderful, independent restaurant is still thriving. Visited for lunch this time and had superb food. The waiter was really helpful even suggesting that we didn’t need to order additional salad as he thought the side salad would be adequate.
Pros: Excellent food served by friendly staff.
Cons: Timing visit to get a table.
Would I visit again? Yes

Also adviced by the owner of the Diamond Lodge and again she was right, this restaurant serves very good food , for an excellent price / quality service
If wehad stayed longer we would have gone back again, but this will be the next time we visit the Lakes

Well this seems a very popular place to eat very busy. Don’t be put off worth the wait food very nice staff very pleasant.
