“Lovely, open-plan cottage, perfect for social cooking, eating and relaxing with friends.”

We stayed at Tock How View cottage in Outgate over New Year 2014, a party of 3 couples. The open-plan cottage was perfect for social cooking, eating and relaxing in front of the log-burning stove. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and nicely decorated and access to 3 bathrooms was very convenient.

The cottage is situated only a stones throw from the local pub in the small village of Outgate. Being only a few miles from Ambleside and Coniston, it is a perfect base for walking in the fells.

Helen was a very accommodating host. She provided simple directions to the cottage and a package of useful information to make us feel at home. We experienced a couple of minor problems during our stay (which could not have been anticipated by the owners). In both instances Helen/Barry made themselves immediately available to ensure fast resolution.

I would definitely stay at Tock How View again. Thanks for a lovely vacation!
