We decided to go to Lucy’s as it had a Tastecard offer! With a 241 deal this is great value for money! Menu is personalised and fun with a great choice of food for meat eaters and vegetarians. The desserts looked great it was just a shame I couldn’t fit one in.

We visited for a second time with another family whilst on holiday, and we had a great time again. There's masses of choice so everybody could find something they liked (always important with kids!), and the food overall was excellent (the only thing which wasn't up to standard was my duck breast where the skin could have been crispier and the flesh a bit pinker). The restaurant has lots of different rooms, which helped us feel that we could be a bit "noisy" without annoying other customers. All staff were very friendly and welcoming - we were looked after well, and whilst you could say that the service was a bit slow at times, that suited us down to the ground as it made the evening last longer and we wouldn't have wanted it any different! The personalised menus are a nice touch as well. Will certainly return the next time we're in the area.

Me and my partner were having a stroll around the town. We were hungry and the twinkly lights attracted my other half. Not expecting much we gave it a go. I’m writing a review simply because we had one of the best meals in a line time. Very classical menu hard to find these days!! I had venison and Fiona had duck both fantastic as were the home made puddings. You will be spoiled for choice with such a well considered menu!!

Lucy’s on a plate ... well what can I say ... it’s just a joy to visit.
This is our 2nd visit to this lovely quirky restaurant, whilst on a whistle stop stay in the Lakes.
The staff are so friendly and the service second to none. The selection of food is outstanding and all the dishes have quirky names and descriptions. I can’t praise this restaurant enough, my husband and I just love it.
Looking forward to our next visit ..
Keep up the good work!
