“A lovely and cosy cottage”

The cottage very well situated to explore the beautiful lake district. It is very pretty and comfortable. It was nice to come back there after long walks in the Lake district with the children who loved the place (and the hens). The house is easily warmed up by the radiators if necessary, the shower is nice and hot. The place was also very clean.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming.
Overall we had a lovely time here.

“Great place to stay for Lakes and Dales”

The cottage is in countryside location with lovely views from the lounge over the Cumbrian hills and It is conveniently placed for both the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales. Old Hutton has no village shop but Kirby Lonsdale about 20 minutes away has local shops and supermarket.
The owners were very welcoming. There is no wifi in the cottage but cafes in Kirby and the supermarket Booths have wifi access for visitors.

“Chilled, relaxed, welcoming break”

The cottage was ideal for two of us with all the basic facilities you could need. Very clean, tidy and homely. Lovely welcome from the owners who were there if needed but didnt intrude. Slight issue with the TV signal so limited channels available but not a real issue for us. Would have like the option of wifi. Location was peaceful, but we did need to drive to local attractions which took us through some beautiful countryside. Local Asda was handy to stock up on essentials, although it did take us some time to find it. Great location if you prefer to be away from the busy tourist spots and gave us the option of both the lakes and Yorkshire Dales.
