Very busy and found it a bit difficult to park. Excellent cinema and enjoyed Peter Rabbit. A bonus that there were no adverts and trailers but make sure you arrive on time and prebook your seats. Peter Rabbit exhibition not worth it in my point of view. Nice cafes and shops.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed the cinema. It is a conscious decision not to show trailers and adverts and we will continue to make customers aware of this in our communication, so they arrive on time. Best wishes from the Rheged team.

Visited today on a rainy day to enjoy the cinema & Peter rabbit exhibition. It was so incredibly busy - yet staff were helpful & friendly. Particular thanks to Ella in the Cafe whose customer service skills were excellent!

We visited Easter Monday on a wet day so were expecting it to be busy. The car park was full but we managed to grab a space as someone else was leaving. We arrived 20 minutes before the start of ‘The Greatest Showman’ and were able to get tickets. The £21 price was excellent for a family of 4. We popped in the shop for 4 drinks, 2 lots of popcorn and sweets for about £12. We all absolutely loved the film. We also visited the peter rabbit exhibition which was very cute. There was a lot going on for children. The staff that we came across were all very friendly and helpful.

Yes, I know its a cinema and a gallery, but you can also treat it as the best service station in the country!

Not far from the M6, along the A66 to Keswick, there is a petrol station but once you park at the grassed over mound there is a pretty impressive outdoor playground for the kids (castle theme), and indoors there are posh shops, cafes and kitchens with posh nosh and coffees (although plenty of grab and go things too, just better quality grab and go than your regular service station) and a small indoor soft play (small charge).

Would stop again.

The discovery centre is great for when the weathers terrible outside although we spent a fortune whilst inside! So just be aware if you go with little ones it may cost you.
The little ones enjoyed the soft play for an hour (£3 each) then paint a pot (price depends on what you pick but these are reasonable) which they enjoyed. There were some lovely lil chicks to see and a fantastic lego wall to keep the kids entertained which we had to enter through the toy shop!! More pennies lol we then took the escalator up to the peter rabbit exhibition (£3.50 each for over 2’s) which was lovely but slightly to young for our 7 year old.
My youngest saw they did face painting so opted for being Spider-Man for the rest of the day! (£3) and then into the coffee shop for soup and coffee which were absolutely delicious! (£12) so although I’d defo recommend and we had a lovely time, you can see how the costing can mount up just so your aware.
