My Grandson and I went to watch a football match at nearby Fleetwood (midweek night game) and did not relish the 1 hour drive home after.
I remembered NORBRECK from my boyhood as THE place to stay if you could afford it!!!!!!

O k it's gone to seed a bit but we had a super time ,despite losing the game, a warm room, lovely hot shower, nice sized room , a great bar at decent prices and a good plentiful breakfast!! ALL for £25 for two of us

Pleasant helpful staff and bus stop at the door.
Some whingers on this site need to get a life really!! Where else will you stay in comfort for 12 and a half quid

just returned from a weekend event at the norbreck and was plesently surprised after reading reviews i was a bit worried about staying their but as soon as we arrived i was met by plesant and helpfull staff our room was on the 1st floor thankfully not the 5th food was okay room clean tidy only drawback was paper hanging off wall but looks like the window could do with being replaced but apart from that room was good only comlaint was you could smell smoke in the corridors as a non smoker i noticed it more ok its not the hilton but i would go back and stay again and definately will be back .xx

Room Tip: if your a non smoker please ask for a non smoking room

this hotel is great except for smoking being allowed in certain bedrooms .i was unlucky enough to be allocated one on arrival , i am asthmatic and a non smoker and would have preferred a different room ,but they were busy & could not do anything for us on our 1st night .we had a lovely sea view so decided to make the most of it and as we were only there for 4 nights coped .but just to make people aware of this i have done this review .by the way food was good here& 99P bar was great .

We stayed here 22nd January,2012, We got a very good deal we got a 1 nights stay for two with 3 course meal and breakfast and bottle of wine with our dinner. All i can say for this hotel is that its in desperate need of updating its so old fashioned! The rooms are not the best, soon as we walked in our room we go a strong smell of damp!
When i got a bath i put the jacuzzi on and all hair came out of it its was disgusting i ended up getting shower!
The meals are poor quality i felt like i was back in school we ended up ordering dominoes pizza to hotel because we were that hungry.
I would not be returning to the Norbreck Castle and i would not recomend it.
I went with my partner and other couple aged between 21-30

Just came home after spending two nights at the Norbreck and I have to say that all in all I wasn't dissapointed given the price I paid. I don't know of anywhere else in the UK you can get a double room B&B for 2 for £25! Yes the place is dated, Yes the beds are lumpy abd yes the temperture of the place is hotter than the hobbs of hell but who cares! The rooms are clean. Maid service is good and the breakfast is better than a lot of considerably higher priced places i've stayed in. Would we go back........For that price.....Why would we go anywhere else!
