We stayed here last Saturday for 1 night with a whole group. Because there were lots of us our group leader phoned to get a deal on the rooms as we were taking over most of the hotel at which they came back with a price per person so we booked it over the phone. It then came to my attention that we’d paid £40 more than what the room cost on their website so I called to explain this. Rather than offer any kind of refund for the difference I was told that they’d agreed a price and that was it so it was basically tough luck but next time we stay i should call them direct and explain so I get the online price. The room we stayed in was also very tired and tatty and could do with a complete makeover which makes me even more unhappy that we paid so much more than we should of done. I am very unhappy at this outcome and will definitely not be staying there again in the future!

We stayed at the Leverdale hotel to enjoy the illuminations.
The hotel location was ideal for us as it was very close to Bispham tram station and we purchased the 24hr passes for the trams for £5 each. We used the trams lots.
The hotel itself has been a little frozen in time and although all basic needs are met it would benefit from a refurbishment and some TLC.
We managed to park on the land at the rear of the hotel as the front car park was full, it was a little squeeze.
Breakfast was good with a good choice of fruit juices, fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants followed by cooked breakfast with an endless supply of toast and hot drinks.
Our room was tiny, particularly the shower cubicle. Daughter and partners room was bigger. Both rooms had nice clean towels, linen and coffee making facilities.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Leverdale and considered it a inexpensive base to explore Blackpool.

we booked this hotel for a family occasion (birthday celebration for 2 children).
the owners were extremely helpful getting us booked in as our party was a little out of the ordinary with a couple of disabled people.
the hotel was comfortable and warm and the facilities very good.
best of all was how friendly and helpful all of the staff were including the owners. we all had a great time and would definitely go back again. although no in room dining, the staff provided breakfast in the games room for our disabled guests.

The receptionist on checking in was informative polite and welcoming and the breakfast waitresses were also very polite and helpful but the other lady who worked there front of house was rude and abrupt to both guests and staff and would be better suited behind the scenes. The superior room was spacious clean and tidy but had a mismatch of furniture and the decor was tired ... the other double room we had with a sea view was small and cramped especially the ensuite and again although clean and tidy the decor was tired .... the photos on booking.com do not reflect reality. Breakfast was small portions and although service pompt the food was not piping hot (just the plates)... no evening meals were available as advertised. The entertainment/bar area and sun lounge need updating and reconfiguring ... it was like sitting in a doctors waiting room in the sun lounge and the bar was not open during the day although the pleasant receptionist did serve us drinks from the reception area. It is a family friendly hotel and effort was made with a Halloween party but there are no areas for adults only to relax and have a quiet drink and chat with just background music playing, the bar area did not have restricted acess for children after a certain time and all the entertainment areas lacked ambience..... not the relaxing stay we had hoped for. The entire hotel is in serious need of updating both decor and furniture and appeared tired and shabby. I would not recommend or revisit as it was not worth the rates paid.
