I read an earlier review of the Leverdale that said the staff were unapproachable and uninterested, we didn't find that, we found the staff to be nice and friendly, I guess some people just expect too much? Anyway it's a Blackpool B&B so don't go there if you expect 5 star at The Ritz. We paid 20 quid each for 1 night B&B so we aren't complaining, okay yes it could do with an upgrade here and there but on the whole the standard was good, the room was clean, warm, and the bathroom was clean with a decent shower, hot water and clean towels, the room was small yes but that's Blackpool so if you want bigger pay more simple as that. It has free parking for guests, it's over the road from the Bispham tram stop, 10 minutes by tram to Blackpool proper, (buy a £5 adult 24 hour pass off the Conductor on the tram itself rather than in McColl's newsagents because their pass is usable only on day of issue whereas the pass bought on the tram is 24 hours from time of purchase). The location was the best thing about it for us as we were visiting friends in Cleveleys which is 5 minutes away, would recommend the Bispham Kitchen just around the corner for food and tea/coffee, really nice place there. We never ate the breakfast at the Leverdale as we were both a bit hungover so we just had cereal, toast, tea/coffee, fruit juice, yogurt which were all fine but they do offer a cooked breakfast too. Overall we enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Leverdale, we would use it again in future no problem because it's good value and as I said the location was good for us, if I were to stay for more than a day or 2 I'd maybe look at spending a bit more on somewhere with a higher star rating but for couple of days I'd book here again.

Room Tip: Sea Views available.

Very dirty room very cold staff non helpful ceiling leaking in room and in downstairs lounge in general the hotel needs a lot of maintenance as it’s in a poor state only two people on reception who you don’t even see and are non approachable and didn’t even know how to operate behind the bar we where served flat drinks

Simply a lovely place to stay. Good food and lovely people. Room clean and bed comfy. Great value for money. Lovely sea view. Situated near the best chippy in Bispham. Plus close to the tram stop. Have visited many times x

We've been to the Leverdale a couple of times now. Very handy for the Bispham tram stop! Excellent breakfasts & evening meals (other than on a Sunday!). Comfortable beds, helpful staff & a reasonable price mean we'll definitely be back!

We stayed here last Saturday for 1 night with a whole group. Because there were lots of us our group leader phoned to get a deal on the rooms as we were taking over most of the hotel at which they came back with a price per person so we booked it over the phone. It then came to my attention that we’d paid £40 more than what the room cost on their website so I called to explain this. Rather than offer any kind of refund for the difference I was told that they’d agreed a price and that was it so it was basically tough luck but next time we stay i should call them direct and explain so I get the online price. The room we stayed in was also very tired and tatty and could do with a complete makeover which makes me even more unhappy that we paid so much more than we should of done. I am very unhappy at this outcome and will definitely not be staying there again in the future!
