Just stayed at The Kenley for two nights. Never stayed in Blackpool before and didn't know what to expect. Have to say we were amazed at the hospitality shown by the owners Mark & Josie. They can not do enough for you. The small hotel is furnished & decorated to a very high standard. Beds so comfortable. Our bathroom was compact but had everything we needed. Again beautifully decorated. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels in the UK and I have to say we have never has a breakfast spread as outstanding as the one provided by Mark & Josie. So much choice. Freshly cooked to order with no long delays despite eleven people being catered for. Plenty of choice for the non-meat eaters but what tops it all is the home made bread. Delicious! Never had this at any 5 star hotel for breakfast.
Mark & Josie will provide an evening meal from a menu. Our only regret was that we didn't take up this offer. Spoke to some other guests who were regular visitors and they were full of praises. Mark is a fully qualified chef and said he could cook anything for my fussy 14 year old who also has a nut allergy. We will definitely be try this option out on our return visit. Since our return we have checked out their other property on the same road Stranded?com. This looks equally furnished and decorated to the same standard.
Will be returning customers and bringing friends.

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 4 and we loved every moment ! On arrival at the hotel Mark greeted us with the offer of a fresh pot of tea and home made fruit cake, which was lovely.
The hotel is spotless,as was our room, extremely clean !
Breakfast was also faultless and an evening meal cooked by Mark, and Josies hosting skills are a credit to them both !
This is a real gem of a hotel, mark and Josie are the perfect hosts, they deliver quality with value, we shall definitely be visiting again.
Thankyou for the perfect stay

A nice welcome, Josie was very busy taking customers orders for dinner when we arrived but she still made time to get us a complimentary cuppa. Our room was lovely with loads of quality extras, nice drinks, nice biccies and even chocolates. Our bed was huge and very comfy. Breakfast was everything you could wish for Josie was very attentative, she remembered our names even though the place was full, she made sure that we had everything that we needed, offering extra toast and tea and coffee's. The owners are such a nice couple, Mark and Josie were in the midst of breakfast when we were leaving but they still took the time to say goodbye together

This has been our fourth visit to the Kenley, twice with the previous owners and twice with the current ones, Mark and Josie.
We didn’t think it would be possible to improve on what was a fantastic hotel, but Mark and Josie seem to have the magic touch!
The food gets better and better, and we were lucky enough to eat Mark’s fantastic steaks on the Saturday evening. The quality of the food is not only due to the very best ingredients being used, but also to Mark’s expertise as a chef.
Josie is an excellent hostess, and it is her eye for detail that maintains the excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
We would never contemplate staying anywhere else when in Blackpool.
We have already booked for next year, and are looking forward to it already!
Mark and Josie work damned hard to make this place the success that it is, and that success is well deserved.
Thank you both.
