When we arrived we were met by John and Pauline, we were 2 ladies travelling together. We were early and apologised for this but John said there was not a problem and we checked in with Pauline.

I was amazed by being given a lecture! I am 42 and never in all my time of travel been told on arrival 'no men are allowed back in the hotel and they only booked couples and familys and to be aware of noise levels on returning home'. To be told NO MEN allowed back I was insulted, I spoke with Pauline in advance of the booking and explained it was 2 ladies on a girlie shopping day and night out! I was made to feel I was there for one reason only.

On a good note the hotel was very clean, very modern but freezing at night!!

John was most helpful and very friendly and an excellant host. There is parking at the front and is very central perfect to get to all shops, theatre's and bars.

Excellant hotel for a central base.

what can i say but wow, i got a good feel from the website with the kingscliff and it lived up to all expectations and more, john and pauline are lovely, very welcoming, and bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasureable as possible, the cooked breakfast is delicious, its a spotless hotel, the decor is lovely and the bedrooms and ensuite are not only immaculate but comfortable as well, freeview as well as little extras like soap hand wash and shower gel etc... we had a two year old with myself and my husband and we stayed in the family room at the top and it was spacious, and being a family hotel they were tolerant when our two yr old had some major tantrums, we will return when our little one is a bit bigger so we can enjoy an evening meal next time, i wouldnt go anywhere else after trying the kingscliff, all i can say is book yourself in, its very reasonably priced and worth it, and it will make your holiday a lot more memorable, Tracey, Davey and little Dylan from Belfast
