“WE LOVED IT”
Reviewed 1 August 2010

I have stayed in many b&bs in Blackpool but this one is by far the best.
We stayed in a family room, all five of us. It was slightly crampt but the warmth and cordiality of the owners more than made up for this.
The food was good, the bar was good and the owners were great at making a fuss over the kids I would have no problem recomending this b&b to anyone

have been to Blackpool many times and this is the first b&b i have stayed in that i am fully satisfied with. for the first time ever my bag was carried up. beds nice and comfortable and the place was clean.excellent location for the pleasure beach and nice and quiet away from the noise. breakfast was nicely cooked and they didn't use the usual cheap sausages you normally get in B&Bs . only one small problem was the lack of fresh orange juice. but i am sure if you request it they will get it in for you.
Blackpool itself has suffered from the recession quite badly with many shops shut and many vacancy signs at the windows. but beachwood had no vacancy's which show they are doing it right!
will definitely book again if we are heading that way

Cheap n Cheerful place to stay, 5 min walk from Pleasure Beach and South Pier. Made to feel welcomed and the people who run it are very friendly.

Staying at the Beachwood B&B has been a true pleasure, Had a 3 night break to celebrate a wedding anniversary and when our hosts , Mick and Mags, found out they brought us a card. How sweet! They are so welcoming. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and they are ready to offer any advice you will need for your day ahead. Have just travelled the world for 6 months and stayed in many hotels but this is the first time I was made to feel like a guest\friend rather than a customer.Free parking and free WiFi. Perfect location for everything...all within walking distance. Perfect location, perfect hosts....PERFECT.

We've stayed at the Beachwood 3 times now and always have had a pleasant welcome. There is parking available and Mr Cole (&family) have helped us with our bags to the room. The rooms are a good size & well equipped, TV, WiFi, tea & coffee, hairdryer and info about blackpool. All rooms are ensuite and i've never heard any noise from the other rooms.

Breakfast is great, freshly cooked for you and at a reasonable time. There is a laid back attitude but Mr & Mrs Cole will help in any way they can. Its our first choice for a hotel in blackpool.

Myself, my partner and my 2 young children stayed at the Beachwood for a 3 night stay in the family room. Ive been to Blackpool on many occasions and this was by far the most comfortable. The room was spacious and extremely clean and the kids were very happy in there.
The breakfast was lovely, couldnt ask for more.................kids were happy with it and again, everything was very clean and very well presented.
The hosts, John and Margaret were great, very friendly, made you feel at home and very at ease as really, you are staying in someones home! They were great with the kids too and the kids came away liking them a lot and wanting to go back!!
This is by far a fantastic place to stay and i would definately recommend it to anyone, in particular, familys with young children!
It is very, very clean, is local to the pleasure beach, the beach etc
We are coming back and i've also recommended it to a few people i know who are going to Blackpool in the future.
Excellent value for money.
John and Margaret, Thankyou so much for the great stay.....................we will definately see you again soon. xx
