We have stayed in Blackpool many times, but this trip was special. After a long trip from Folkestone in Kent we arrived at the Woodfield Hotel to a welcome as if we were long lost friends. A pot of tea and biscuits and shown to a clean comfortable bedroom was just the start. In the evening we had a drink or two in the friendly hotel bar ,the drink prices were fair and not a rip off. After a good nights sleep we joined other guest for breakfast, now that breakfast was again something special .It has been said that The Woodfield Hotel breakfast was best breakfast in Blackpool. We would say that it the very best breakfast in Blackpool .To Paul and Mandy and the boys thank you for making our stay so happy. This was the first time we stayed with you at The Woodfield but we promise it wont be the last Anne and Tony

I stayed at the woodfield hotel from the 7th - 9th Sept 09 and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Paul and Mandy the owners are brilliant and can't do enough for you. Breakfast in the mornings is amazing everything is cooked perfectly. They have an indoor swimming pool which is always warm. The rooms are very clean and tidy and have everything you could want in them. The location is good about 10 min walk to the centre and abut 10 min walk the pleasure beach. I would definitely reccommend this hotel. Christine

Just back from staying at this lovely family -run hotel. All credit to Paul, Mandy and the boys who make you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door! We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis but they also offer Dinner as well. The rooms are all en-suite and have t.v,s and tea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel also has a heated indoor swimming pool and the hotel provides towels for you to use..a bonus!. there are also toys and inflatables for children..young and old ..to use.
The breakfast was freshly made and plenty of it.. fruit juice,cereal,fry-up and coffee, tea and toast.....Great to set you up for the day.
Would recommend this hotel have been 6 times in the last 4 Years so cant be that bad......

we have been visiting blackpool on holiday for the past 10plus years and have never stayed at the same hotel more than once, well that is untill now :) we had our first visit with paul, mandy & boys last year & couldnt wait to get booked for this year again so booked at beginning of january for holiday in june 2009, all i have to say about the woodfield is fantastic, we are made so welcome & our stay at the woodfield is so relaxing, just home from home.
the woodfield offers a friendly service with everyone beening made so comfortable.
the breakfast is the best in blackpool cooked & served by the beautiful ciare & mandy :)
<how do you like your eggs>
also there is an added bonus of heated swimming pool & games area which goes down well with all the family.
the woodfield is only a short walk to the pleasure beach, sandcastle, piers, shops, beach & any amenity you would require.
all in all this is the best hotel we have stayed in while in blackpool and we will def be going back again :) & again & again :)
love from the thompson gang <ireland>
