Check in was fine but that was about it. Walls are super thin so you can hear everything and bathroom celing was covered in mould. Had drunk people running up and down the corridors most of the night. Got no sleep. Complained at desk and the receptionist was not interested or even offered an apology! They did see if I could be moved to a different room or anything. I checked out early. Will never be using them again - highly recommend you avoid this hotel!!! I have stayed in a few hotels in Leicester and this has been the worst one!

Campanile is my regular hotel during my Leicester visits. Its location is perfect, close to the city centre, on-site parking, friendly staff, well maintained rooms with good facilities at affordable prices. Don't have any complaints whatsoever. Would come back again and again.

Book early and get a very good rate - nice staff throughout my 3 night stay. Slept well which is what you really want. Breakfast fine. Quick walk to the town centre. There are things that may catch your eye but in this day and age they are the least of ones worries !!

We had a one night stay at Campanile as we were going out in Leicester centre. The location was spot on easy to find and get in to and close to the centre. good size car park. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and well laid out. Nothing exceptional either good or bad just as you expect. We had the cooked breakfast in the morning which was nice, only disappointment was they didn't ask what items you did or didn't want. not too bad for us but if you don't like beans or mushrooms or something it could spoil it when they arrive on your plate.Good cold selection of cheese, meat fruit and cereal.Nice easy check out. All in all as you expect from a reasonable priced city hotel. Good, would definitely stay again. Just as a side point opposite is what I would describe as a multi-nation supermarket which is amazing. If you are there then pop in for a look around.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor. Although next to a main road no traffic noise

We have stayed at the Leicester Campanile three times now but will not return for a fourth visit.
It's always been "cheep n cheerfull"
but they have crossed the line with cutbacks now.
They have done away with cups, spoons and glasses in the rooms and put PAPER cups and wooden stirrers with the kettle.
I as a tea drinker would like a cuppa in a cup not a paper wax cup.
I would also like a glass for the side of my bed so i can drink water in the night.
There was only one sachet of milk in our double room and only one towel and one face towel. Why not take the lifts out and put ladders in the lift shafts while your at it Campanile and save electric?
The staff as always were great and the beds comfortable.
The rooms are basic but ok for the price but you expect certain things of even basic hotels and paper cups are not it.
We use hotels often but we will not use the camanile group again.

As you observed, we have now replaced china cups with takeaway cups, as these do suit a lot of our customers, however should you prefer china mugs and need extra tea and coffee, please enquire at reception where we will be more than happy to provide you with what you need.

Once again, thank you for you time and your feedback, and we hope to see you again in the future.
