We went to the small lake with 4 children aged 1 - 5. Had a walk round with double buggy and picnic at the end. Nothing to keep kids entertained other than nature - we took fishing nets and kept them busy with pond dipping, bug hunting collecting bits and bobs. Nice walk, water is a bit murkey in places, a few ducks to feed, nice place to pass a couple of hours, Saw a heron in the distance. Car park £2.50

This is a great place to go for a nice stroll with children, lots of benches around if you want a sit down, bbq areas, free parking with ice cream van in car park at weekends. It does get busy in the warm weather with a lot of people having bbqs.

Beautiful park to visit. There are lovely streams and the Lake is a wonderful sight with ducks and swans that you can feed. If your fortunate enough you may see some small fish in the streams that you can fish for with small nets which makes great fun for the children. There is a lovely picnic area which you can take your own disposable bbq with you when the weather is nice.

This park just gets better and better. Lucky enough to live close at hand to really appreciate this during all the seasons of the year.
