Description: Cafe Zoot is a privately owned business opened in 2000, located in the heart of historic Lincoln. During this time we have become renowned for consistently offering quality produce at great value, where a lively atmosphere is commonplace and friendly staff are attentively at your service. In January 2013 Cafe Zoot underwent an extensive refurbishment. After listening to our customers on ways in which we could improve our restaurant, Cafe Zoot now boasts a brand new look, and a much more spacious interior. We are open seven days a week from 8.30Am till late and offer a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu. Throughout the week we also offer a Lunch Special Two Course Menu for £8.50 And an All Day Special Two Course Menu for £11.95. (Everyday except Saturday from 5.00Pm till 10.30Pm) Our Chefs have worked hard on designing a menu with the classic dishes our customers love as well as offering an exciting A'la Carte menu with dishes to get your taste buds going!! We always use fresh quality produce and our dishes our homemade and cooked to order. Cafe Zoot can cater for various functions, whether you fancy a Champagne Breakfast, Birthday or Anniversary Celebration, we can also cater for Business conferences and meetings. Whatever the occasion come and celebrate with us!!

Took the family to lunch on Tuesday 3rd April and what a surprise. This restaurant was excellent with attentive stall and a great menu. It is small but comfortable and with reasonable prices, well worth a visit

Visited Cafe Zoot for lunch with my family. Very nice atmosphere and great daytime deal. I had the brie for starter and the bangers and mash for main. I felt like the appearance of the starter was a little 'too much' - it made the two pieces of brie look lost. The main course however, was nice. The mash to gravy ratio was uneven.

The service we received was ok. We had a waiter who was a little odd with an 'abrupt' attitude. When we had finished our mains, dessert menus were thrown at us without asking whether we wanted dessert.

Very good food and the staff were friendly upon entering.
A nice area to sit and eat at the heart of the cathedral quarter and a window seat allows for cosy street viewing whilst you fork food into your mouth.
The lunch time menu is very reasonably priced for a starter and main combo.
Both dishes we ate were fresh and flavoursome. Enjoy!

Called in on Sunday evening on the off chance they had a table and they managed to squeeze us in. Glad we skipped a starter as the mains were very filling and we needed to keep some space for desserts which were equally as delicious as the main course. Service was very good and a very enjoyable evening despite the table of 6 next to us feeling the need to opt for shouting at each other rather than talking throughout our meal

My wife and I had a late lunch here on a cold March day recently. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate quite simply i.e. soup, ham and pickle sandwich, shredded pork, but every dish was so tasty and well prepared that we were extremely impressed. The soup was outstanding and undoubtedly home made with a special touch. The menu offers many dishes which are far more interesting than these, so I would imagine that you would be guaranteed of a very good dining experience. Prices reflected the quality of what we received and were reasonable.
The decor is smart, up to date and bright and the atmosphere relaxing. All in all a very good experience.
