Apart from Liverpool 1 and the revamped docks , it's gotta be uk,s dirtiest town. The last time I smelt anything as bad was in the ghettos of India. It absolutely stank with the remnants of rancid beer and human vomit. For all the hype that goes with this town the council are trying to drive it back to the 18th century. Shame on all the counsellors that draw a salary for there poor standards and lazy work ethics for allowing this to happen!!!!

Compared to Cheshire Oaks and the Trafford Centre my experience of Liverpool One was disappointing. The overall feel of the surrounding streets after leaving Central Station was of charity beggars and poor quality marketeers. The shops in Liverpool One were under stocked, populated by staff who thought it more appropriate to ask if I was in town for the match than which clothes I was interested in buying, and I found everything I wanted in Giancarlo Ricci under one roof, rather than traipsing through grey streets trying to find good customer service from distracted, gum chewing kids representing decent brands.

Lovely outdoor eating places, Multi plex cinema, crazy golf, Fantastic shops. Very clean. Varied street entertainment - love the pianos dotted around that anyone can play. Only down side - the number of people begging.

As a couple we visit Liverpool One at least once a year. This was our third visit this year. I'm still got all the shops you need, plenty of restaurants and cafes and a good selection of bars to keep you hydrated. The public toilets are always clean (30p charge) and whatever the weather you will find something to do. It's location is perfect - sandwiched between the docks and the more tourist areas of the cavern. Can't recommend this highly enough
