Stayed at the Hampton Liverpool City Centre midweek as part of a birthday night out celebration. Location is great, equidistant from the Echo Arena and Liverpool (10min walk to either) and there’s underground parking (for a supplement).
The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, bright and welcoming; check in was effortless and we were quickly in our room which like the rest of the hotel was spotless, spacious and well equipped. I can’t remember the room number but it was at the rear of the hotel with a view to the Anglican Cathedral. Decent TV, free WiFi, sofa, tea & coffee, plenty of lights and sockets for all your charging needs. The bathroom was a decent size and the shower was plenty powerful and piping hot.
There was a bar which looked very trendy and comfortable but we didn’t get an opportunity to use it, so can’t comment on service or cost, the same applies to the gym.
Breakfast was included in the room rate and whilst it was hectic and there was a struggle for table and seats didn’t appear to be any system and staff were overwhelmed (but you’re advised of the busy and quiet times). Plenty of choice for breakfast although we had to ask for vegetarian sausages.
Value for money 5*
Would we stay again.......most definitely but I’d plan breakfast better. More
