Came as a family booking with birthday for my mum. Food was excellent, I had steak on the stones, delicious! We all had something different off the menu and we were all pleased with presentation and taste. Starters and puddings also lovely. Good value for money. Service from staff was excellent. Would definitely return.

Had an evening out with friends here The act on was called One Stop Boogie and they were excellent ! We had a 4 course meal and full evening entertainment for £18.50 . The meal consisted of a plate of olives cheese salami and sun dried tomatoes sort of a Mediterranean platter, followed by a fresh tomato soup and bread roll then a choice of main course of chicken breast in a pepper sauce on a bed of mash potatoes or short rib of beef on mash potatoes and I think there was a vegetarian option . I had the beef which was perfect all came with a bowl of three fresh vegetables red cabbage peas and carrots again delicious ! The desert that followed was a choice of fruit skewers and a chocolate dipping sauce chocolate fudge cake with cream or cheese and biscuit platter ! All deserts were very generous portions I had the fudge cake which was huge but very good! Drinks from the bar were reasonable and the bar staff friendly and very efficient. The waiting on staff were friendly and again very good at their job, food was beautifully presented hot and fresh ! Everything about the night was a huge success and everyone was enjoying themselves and having a great time ! Brilliant night out, highly recommended and yes we would be delighted to come back again soon . Many thanks

Recently visited her for our engagement meal with family and friends! Service was quick especially as we had quite a few people with us! All 40 of us enjoyed our meals especially the steak which you cook your steak!

Staff friendly and helpful! Great service all round

Having been before and on a return visit with my family in tow this time I wanted to take them somewhere different and special.
With steaks cooked on lava rocks at your table I thought was the ideal novelty factor and the fact you have control of how you want them cooked would put a smile on their face along with a price of £14.95 for 2 courses which includes a steak!
The starters too were amazing and we had the mushrooms in a peppercorn sauce with blue cheese.
However after the main course and on a high the dessert took their breath away with their own campfire on the table to toast marshmallows in chocolate sauce!
Couple all this with the Scouse sense of humour from the staff kept us all entertained throughout our evening.
So get along and seek out this gem that's off the beaten track but so worth it

Booked a table saturday gone. I ordered the scampi'Tails'. They actually looked like childrens chicken nuggets. AT the cost of nearly £11, this is a really poor service.. Chef needs a word in his ear.
