Description: Zala, a new Middle Eastern restaurant specialising in Levantine meze, Levantine pizzas, pitas and grilled meats at The West Yard (near Kerb), Camden Lock Market. With 38 covers and an additional 12 outside featuring high ceilings, a mezzanine level and plenty of windows, the space feels bright and airy. With the hustle and bustle of Camden Market outside, it’s a prime spot for people watching. Interior touches including low hanging lights, distressed brickwork and white washed walls are combined with clever Middle Eastern touches. Tomer's Niv menu at Zala – traditional Arab and Mediterranean ingredients married with western cooking techniques to create earthy dishes, packed with flavour. This exceptional value menu kicks off aptly with a complimentary selection of regularly changing meze, including a roast cauliflower salad, bursting with flavour, fresh hummus, baba ganoush, tahini, sweet potato and parsley salad and a bag of moreish flatbread. For something to drink, a selection of carefully chosen wines, beers and cocktails – namely Half Hitch Gin & Tonic and Aperol Spritz – will have you feeling the buzz of Camden Market in no time. Zala offers simple, honest Middle Eastern cooking with a sprinkling of elan; it’s food you want to instantly devour and at great value, in a fun environment, it's a winning combination.

Foind this little gem of a place by accident. Had the lamb classic which came with the mezze. Very flavoursome lamb was melt in the mouth and toasted pitta was awesome. Highly recommend

We stopped for lunch in Camden recently and were greeted by very friendly staff at the Zala Grill at Camden Market. We shared a beautiful margarita pizza and a beef wrap complete with amazing tahini. Had a laugh with the staff too, would definitely recommend giving this place a visit!

My other half and I stumbled across the eat-out part of the restaurant on first arriving at Camden Market. However, we decided to to leisurely stroll around the market with a view to returning for a late lunch which we did and were not disappointed. We had our lunch in the restaurant as there wasn't room for us to sit down and eat outside. We absolutely loved the meze dishes with 1 succulent chicken skewer and 1 lamb and beef. Our waitress Tom served us with a spicy dish of matbucha to try at no extra cost and she made our experience memorable. Would highly recommend.

It is a new restaurant in the Stables Market. I went there with a friend and I was not disappointed.
Middle Eastern good, tasty food at very reasonable prices. The service and the waitress were also very friendly and nice. We had two starters: crisp calamari and flamed roasted aubergines. They were delicious. For the main meal we had one meat skewer each, roasted vegetables and one free meze (if you order two meat skewer, there is one free meze).
I had a “Malabi” for dessert; a Levantine Milk Pudding with Rose Water with Pomegranate on top.
It is an excellent option for people that do not enjoy eating from the market stalls and having nowhere to sit while eating
