Ros and David Jones run a really great Bed and Breakfast. They pay special attention to detail and are helpful and courteous. They also make marvellous full English breakfasts!

On recommendation from a friend hailing from London, I chose Chiswick.
My daughter and I stayed at Ivy Gate House for 6 nights.
The guest house is located in a quiet residential area close to Chiswick Park underground station.
It was easy to go to the center of London. This was our first trip to London but we were able to go to many places easily. Kew Gardens are very close to the house!
There are many places to eat in Chiswick. There is also a big supermarket near the station.
Hosts were very kind. The English breakfast was delicious. They prepared a snack for us on the day when we had to leave the house early in the morning for a package tour to Cotswolds.
The room was clean and very comfortable, with elegant decor. Beds were comfy and a shower was hot and powerful. We would recomend Ivy Gate House without hesitation. We truly enjoyed our first stay in London.

I stayed this B&B during 6 nights,
satisfied perfectly with clean room, and wonderful breakfast.
the location is good, easy to access, and most of all, this house is in the calm and safe area.
Sainsbury super store is near, that makes your stay comfortable.
I can not doubt that this B&B is highly recommendable place.

I needed a home away from home for a sustained period of time, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Excellent location with major bus and tube routes nearby.
Very clean, with a very welcoming atmosphere.

THIS IS NOT THE IVY HOUSE HOTEL, in London, which has the worst reviews I have seen. This is instead a lovely small B&B in Chiswick. 5 minutes walk to Chiswick Park, and from there 35 minutes to Center London, or 2 minutes walk to South Acton overground, and close proximity to Richmond and Kew Garden. A good pub (Bollo Lane) around the corner, and plenty of restaurants 5 minutes walk to Chiswick High Road. The house is in a quiet street, 2 rooms on second floor. I always stay on the front room, which has ensuite, and is very comfortable and well maintained. The shower is clean and well working, the sheets and towels are comfortable. Select your breafkast from a variety of menu options, I like my poached egg with tomato, muesli, toasts and jam, orange segments. Your hosts are friendly and helpful in any way. As a B&B you are advised to follow the basic courtesy rules (I would also hate to have noisy neighbors blasting their TV), and for GBP 55-55 single, I cannot dream of a better value in London.
