Went there to catch up with family and watch a quarter final Champions League match. Place was buzzing with anticipation. Ordered food as lunch was a long time ago. Had one of the pies with veg and gravy. Steak and ale pie was very good indeed - very tasty with proper big chunks of tender meat. The veg was broccoli and shredded cabbage and mash. The gravy came in its own cute little jug full to the brim. Washed it down with a lovely smooth and fruit glass of Merlot. Atmosphere was great with plenty of fans making themselves heard. Pub has lots of seating around the square bar, tables with high chairs and low comfy chairs. Great place to hang out, have a meal, meat friends for a drink or general get together. Two minutes from the main road with plenty of buses going to/from Paddington, Westfield, Chelsea or Westbourne Park direction.

We had a burger and a meat pie- loved them both, and were reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. We came on a Sunday and did not have reservations, so we needed to wait a little while for a table. It was worth it!

This place was great! A very comfortable space that you can hangout in all day. It’s not a Greene King pub, so it has different beer selections than a lot of the other pubs in London. They have a fantastic Sunday Roast that is a must have if you can! Delicious!

Nice and cozy as usual, but what has happened in the kitchen? Three of us had burgers that had a none-tasting overdone meat, that came with a none-tasting bread. HU! The sallad was OK.

My boyfriend and I stopped in just as a rugby game was ending. They had a good drink selection and good service. But really our favorite thing about this place was just getting to watch a slice of British life. Perfect spot to people watch!
