My husband checked in the day before me and scoped this gorgeous property out. The Town Hall has it all. Unique concept - a converted Town Hall. Cool design. Great service. A happening vibe in an up and coming neighborhood.
The room we had was awesome. Large suite with great details. It was on the ground floor. Although it was not the brightest room - we loved it! The bathroom had l’occitane products, which are a crowd pleaser. The rooms are designed as “flats” so you have a full kitchen and washer dryer.
There is a really cool pool in the basement, which was a great way to awaken after my overnight flight from NYC.
The dining in this hotel is top notch. We did not eat at the Michelin starred restaurant “The Typing Room” - which is supposed to be amazing. Instead we ate in “the corner room” which was lovely!
There is a great yoga studio close by called Frame and the Flower Market is a must see. We would definitely return to The Town Hall.

Stayed here for three nights with family in July and had a great stay. We enjoyed a large two bedroom two bathroom with kitchenette unit on a below ground floor. Super quiet down there, very easy access to and from the street without having to go to the lobby via a set of stairs and secure door near the bar/restaurant. Pool is below ground also and was of decent size with a pretty well appointed workout room attached.

Never felt ill at ease walking around the neighborhood. Admittedly, there didn't seem to be much in the immediate area, there is a Sainsbury market I think it was right near The Bethnal Green Tube station. Speaking of that, the tube station (Central Line) was maybe a five minute walk and the Cambridge Heath Overground station was about the same if not shorter of a walk in the opposite direction although probably not as useful for most touristy stuff.

I would definitely look at this property if you value, want, or need a two bedroom two bathroom unit for traveling with friends or extended family and if you don't want to have to worry about trying to get adjoining rooms or anything like that.

We attended a wedding at the Town Hall Hotel which was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel is beautifully refurbished, keeping its original features and gorgeous Art Deco style. The food was excellent and the staff were beyond helpful on the day. Guests rooms are stylish, comfortable, and felt like home from home. The most stylish, comfortable and welcoming London hotel I have ever stayed in.

Dear Traveller287021,

How lovely to read that you had an amazing time attending a wedding at Town Hall Hotel & Apartments. We are always glad to see that on top of celebrating love, you could stay in “the most welcoming hotel you ever stayed in London”! We truly thank you for taking the time to write such an insightful comment as the entire team strive to give memorable experiences to all our guests from the moment they book with us, through the food we serve to the last smile when you check-out.
It is a pleasure to know that you found yourself very comfortable reaching that home away from home feeling that we are, at the end of the day, all looking for.
I hope you had a chance to relax in our fifteen-meter heated pool or exercise at the gym.
We are obviously looking very much forward to welcoming you again, maybe with all your friends, so don’t hesitate to contact me so I can personally look after you when you want to come back.

All the best from all of us here at Town Hall Hotel,

We are on our second and final night at this hotel. I seriously cannot understand the 5 star rating and rave reviews!
We are staying in one of the largest apartments which has 2 bedrooms. The fixings are tired and shabby. It feels like they hired a great interior designer to fix the place up a few years ago and haven’t maintained it since. The curtains that offer privacy from the communal areas are tired and stained. The frosted glass is shabby and stained. The shower fixings are coming off the wall. The curtains have come off the hooks. There are far more chairs than ever needed so we feel as if we are in a student accommodation!! There is no atmosphere. The lobby is lacking warmth as are the staff. Our room was not ready til gone 3pm and no one seemed bothered. The air con is broken and again no one is bothered. The room is so hot that our daughter is struggling to sleep. Nothing has been offered by means of an apology. The staff have almost seemed rude. We have stayed all over the world in various classes of hotel and this has been one of the worst experiences. Had the staff been more apologetic about its short comings we may have been more forgiving but no one seems to care very much. Certainly won’t be staying again!!

Dear The2vMartins,

Thank you for selecting Town Hall Hotel as your venue of choice based on the reputation for which Town Hall Hotel is generally known. The careful observations you made about while staying at our property have been shared with the team members involved. They join me in thanking you, as we strive to improve our offering with each and every guest experience.
We are very sorry about the discomfort you experienced due to the overburdened, malfunctioning Air Conditioning in your two-bedroom suite. Unfortunately, this was an unexpected event caused by the failure of an important mechanical component during the most intense and unprecedented heat wave. Given the nature of the circumstances, there has been a huge demand on resources, services and parts provided by the companies responsible for looking after this machinery, leading to a failure in the service we are usually proud to provide, parts are arriving in the next few days from Europe, hopefully.
I am very sorry for all the turmoil this has caused, as Town Hall Hotel prides itself on forging and maintaining positive relationships and experiences with every guest doing the utmost to ensure a relaxing, enjoyable and comfortable environment, it is always very distressing to hear that objectives like this have not been fulfilled.
Please accept our sincere apologies and with this in mind I would like to offer my personal assistance should you be willing to give us another chance when you next visit London. I will be happy to look after you, your booking and make sure you enjoy the best Town Hall Hotel experience possible.

All the best from all of us here at Town Hall Hotel,

Jessica
