As a hotel in general terms it was good. The room furnishings and decor are of a high standard and had some nice touches. Reception felt a bit like a railway station with people arriving and departing all the time which means no personal touches or atmosphere. We didn't sample the food or drink, I am not paying £21.50 for a fried breakfast or nearly £4 for the smallest beer I have seen, I am not a tourist; who obviously make up most of their clientele.
My biggest disappointment was the "superior room with an atrium view". which in room 1325 means a opaque main window and a very small side window which, if you stretch across can just about see Westminster Bridge. The lighting is poor, very dark.
All in all a very bland experience.More
