This is a very modern large hotel, it was busy but there were lots of staff ready to help at the drop of a hat so it felt special. The rooms and bathrooms were fab. We went for my Mums 70th and they were very kind and gave her a lovely room with a view and a birthday cake was left in the room for her. The decor is very modern but very good. The only down point was there were only scrambled eggs on offer at breakfast,. The spa is nice too.

We stayed at this hotel during Christmas. We had a very nice modern room at the 11th floor.I will not describe it because the other guests already did it very well.i will only stay in some points that might help you make your choice. The good points of this hotel are :the location, the fact that it is brand new,the breakfast and the live music of the Primo bar(not the service)Unfortunately has many negative points.First of all is the cleanliness not only of the room which had dust from the former guests, but of the corridors to.They left the disks of the room service on the corridors for more than 24 hours(When we checked out they were still lying there). The executive floor has a wonderful view and no service at all.Everything you have to do it alone. To make your coffee from the machine,to look for water to look for spoons and knives......No executive at all but....great VIEW!The swimming pool should not be a reason to choose this hotel because it is big enough for only 10 people the most.At the end,the biggest problem of this hotel is his staff (not ALL of them but MOST OF THEM) They are not efficient to deal with minor problems and they can be rude under pressure(A blond lady in the swimming pool at Christmas day) Would i stay here again?NO.I would try somewhere else, where they appreciate their guests.

Stayed here over the Christmas Break and was really looking forward to staying here as this is their flagship hotel at the moment in London. First impressions did not disappoint as you go up the escalator into the huge lobby area. Was allocated an atrium looking room on the 13th floor which can handily be accessed by a set of lifts for floors 13 and upwards off the main lobby.
The corridors and the room itself is very similar to what you will find at the Riverbank Park Plaza further down the road, which when it opened a few years back was stunning, and perhaps I feel the hotel had missed the opportunity here to do something different rather than stick to a tried and trusted method which can be experienced down the road.
Room size was very large about 30 square metres plus and the bathroom was huge with seperate bath and shower cubicle. Fluffy robes and Dead Sea Minerals toiletries in large sizes too!
Room benefits from Iron, Safe, Tea and coffee facilities and free in room Wi-fi. The only thing missing from the Riverbank here is the DVD player in the room. Beds were very comfortable although pillows could have been a bit more on the plump side. Sleep quality was good, although be warned of a few slamming doors from other other dis-respectful guests.
The great plus points here in this hotel are the location. 2 mins walk from Waterloo or 4-5 across the bridge to Westminster.
The other big plus points are the numerous bars and restaurants on site. We sat down in one of the bars which had Jazz music playing on the Sunday. Food wasn't bad either and reasonably priced. An in house cafe also can provide coffee/cakes/pastries and sandwiches at reasonable prices. I say reasonable becuase they were not much more than what you would pay in a Pret and were of an equal quality.
Fantastic Stay overall. If you are looking for a longer stay consider the County Hall across the road becuase of the microwave and fridge space and living room. But if staying a few nights, then this one ticks all the boxes. Friendly and attentive staff and itching to return again!!

Great location near to London Eye & South Bank, but this new hotel is very large and whilst stylish is very impersonal. As the hotel was full, breakfast was served in one of the function rooms below ground level, which lacked atmosphere, and whilst the food was OK, the service left a bit to be desired.

Front desk staff were helpful.

The rooms as ever with Park Plaza hotels were of a good standard, with a comfortable bed and separate shower cubicle.

Stayed here for a one night break with my boyfriend, got a fantastic deal for RO. Stayed in the standard room which was very spacious. We had an atrium view which was fine (if we lent right over the window ledge we could see the thames!) the only down size to this was that most of the window was frosted out so was quite dark.
The decor of the room was nice, unfortunately we had a disabled bathroom but it didnt really bother us as we were only there for one night.
location of the hotel was fantastic, close the Houses of Parliament and London Eye and within walking distance of Waterloo Train Station.
We had a few drinks at the hotel bar which was really reasonable and there was a brilliant singer in the bar.
We didn't add on breakfast as it seemed quite expensive (£21.50 for an english breakfast) and my only complaint was that the pillows and bed were hideous!!
But i am being picky as overall we had a lovely night out in london and the hotel was fab.

We stopped in july 2010, the rooms were clean restraunt and bar were fab however, We booked 12 rooms for our wedding party and only the 1suite had a view.
When trying to check in and out was a nitemare, Its a good job i knew how much the bill was as they tried to charge us for extra rooms! No special treatment was given i know its cheap but we spent a fair amount an complementry upgrade or free bottle of something for the bridal room would've been nice!
I stay alot in park plaza county hall and i love both of the hotels for value and location, however after that farce i shall not be returning to this one as it added more stress to my wedding day than i needed! i couldve gone to a travel lodge and got better treatment to be honest! not impressed.

I stayed here with my partner for 1 night for my work Christmas party. We were given a suite which had a separate living area. Also had 2 huge flat screen TV's in the bedroom and living area. The room was exceptionally clean and also modern and plush!
We ordered room service (food) which we thought was great value for a central London hotel. It's very close to Westminster tube station and also tourist like Big Ben and the London Eye.
