“Packed with interest.”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

A must for the thoughtful. Lots of 'boys toys' but much more, very good war artists collections.
New section on 'A family in wartime' brings history alive.

“Everyone must go”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

Wow what a place I had no idea what to expect. It's set in an amazing building, brilliant exhibitions. I loved the Spies section and the Holocaust exhibition was so upsetting but it had to be seen. Great for all ages as there is so much to see and do.

“Must see in London for anyone! Researchers too!!”
Reviewed 4 April 2012

Military enthusiasts, history buffs, tourists, or any age will find this a definate must see in London. This historical building holds so much history it's practically bursting with it. If you are looking to see history on any military campaign that Britain has participated in, then look no further. The museum has a particularly large display and collection of tanks, guns, uniforms and more from World War One & World War Two.
Another useful tool if you are researching a particular part of history, a military unit, a specific battle or war hero... The IMWs Research room will help you for free! You must book an appointment three days in advance for this as well as what your topic is on their website. Enjoy!!
