Buy tickets well in advance or it will be booked up. Spend as much as you can afford , eating at the restaurant was fantastic, great food served before and during the intervals.
An experience not to be missed.

I went on a behind the scenes tour of The Royal Opera house and was completely overwhelmed by the sheer grandeur of the place and also to learn about some of the intricacies involved in an opera production.

I was thrilled to learn about the Tea dances (for those who dont know, Tea Dances occur on the last Friday of every month at 1 PM and tickets cost a tenner). Would definitely recommend and come back as well.

We saw Romeo and Juliet and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I'd highly recommend both.

The foyer has a well oiled mass of staff covering ticket collections, purchases, clockroom ( they will store bags too) Got lost a few times finding the toilets and our seats, but the building is so beautiful, it was hardly a hardship to wander the corridors. The Champagne bar is as expected quite expensive ( with slower staff) but a nice addition to the experience. The ballet itself was exquisite and the atmosphere this great building creates is priceless and should be experienced at least once in a lifetime.
