Arrived at hotel early,on checking in we were asked for some I.D, a driving licence, unfortunately we didn't have one with us,so they asked if we had a credit or debit card, so stupidly i handed over my debit card which they swiped, i ask why they did that as i had paid in advanced for the hotel and theatre tickets combo and they said" if we have anything out of the mini bar it would be charged to our card that was fine, had no problem with that, our room was clean but very very hot as there seem to be something wrong with the a/c,t.v,the picture was awful and outside our bedroom window on a roof was a white towel which didn't look to good,we couldn't open the window to make our room cooler, had a lovely day and evening in london, checked out at 9.30 next day was asked if we had had anything from the mini bar which was no,so i was very shocked to see on my bank statement that the hotel had taken £50 out, on ringing them they told me they take a holding fee, which was news to me,he said" it would be put back within 5 day, left it for a week still no money, rang them again to be told they are keeping the money because we had been sick all over the sheets and down the side of the bed and we had thrown a towel out off the window, the window that we could not open,as you can imagine i was shocked, i could not believe they can take my money out of my account without my permission, as for being sick, was a load of rubbish, they said"they had evidence which we did not see because it did not happen, please, please don't stay at this hotel as there is a scam going on,my birthday weekend has been spoilt by this horrible hotel.

Room Tip: don't go

Good location but some staff leave a lot to be desired. Check-in from 2pm we arrived at 3.30 to be advised by a very disinterested receptionist to wait to be seen by another member of staff. When we were eventually checked-in we then had a wait to see if our room was ready!!. Once in the room one of the bedside lamps required a new bulb, the kettle could only be plugged in safely on the floor and the tv had bad reception. Later when we were trying to sleep through the constant droning noise we realised we were next to the pump room. As it was late i didnt complain but decided to let the staff know on check-out. This didnt materialize as we were practically ignored on check-out. The receptionist didnt even look our way, she took the key and turned around immediately without a word. At £137 for 2 for 1 nights stay with no breakfast, we got the hotel cheap against the full list price but unfortunately we also got cheap service.

This Hotel is in a central location with taxis readily available - a great asset when you are travelling alone! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Hotel is clean, elegant and has a welcoming feel about it which somehow made me feel instantly "at home". The lifts were quick and efficient and right by reception. Peace and quiet in the room and everything worked (except Radio 4 via the TV...)
I would happily recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I stayed on the 7th floor - it was amazingly quiet. There was even a balcony.

Stayed here for a weekend break when meeting friends in London for food and drink. Location easy to get to and on first impressions hotel looked smart. Receptionist surly and disinterested and we had to ask her for even the most basic of things. Room small cluttered and noisy despite it being a more expensive option. TV didn't work and the bed was in the way of the wardrobe doors. Breakfast was present at least but not worth the £20 charge even for the most flippant spenders. Overall impression that the hotel doesn't care about its guests.

We chose this hotel for its location and price as we got it in a deal with theatre and rail init, The room was clean with a modern design and of a medium size, The bathroom was also clean and very modern, only thing was when taking a shower it was a large step out of the bath which could be a problem for shorter people, We had the windows open at night due to it being warm and the aircon not being to good but didnt have any problem with noise.
Everyone was great and very helpfull.
A continental breakfast came with our deal which consisted of a choice of cerial, pastrys, fruit, cheese and Tea/Coffee and fruit juice if you wanted any cold meat with that you had to pay extra.
Looking at the menu it would of been very expensive if we hadn't of had it included.
Green park tube staition is just a short walk away, there is plenty of places to eat close and a Tesco express across the road.
Would use this hotel again.

Do not stay here. The location is good but the heat/ac do not work effectively. I had my windows open and the street noise keep me awake as well as the heat. It is next to Sheppard Market with good places to eat and shop. Also located 3 blocks from Buckingham Palace. The food was very expensive at the hotel.
