The Egerton house staff are their most valuable asset- friendly, polite, interesting, and humorous - Making my wife and I feel like we were visiting family!
It also helped that the hotel was cozy , our room lovely (bathroom could have been a bit bigger) , and breakfast brilliant ...with Black Pudding!
Located in a quiet upper-end residential neighborhood close to Harrods, we were walking distance from the V&A, Natural History museum, and the South Ken tube stop- a great location
After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to relax in the hotel Bar- with a great bartender- killer cocktails!
Wi-Fi was complimentary (a nice touch)
A shout-out to Antonio and Esley - who made our stay even more memorable
If you want to have a relaxed stay in a smaller 5* traditional English hotel with friendly staff good location and great food and drink..look no further.

Agree completely with 'Diane M' report - 'a perfect 10'. The staff were particularly attentive, which made our stay so enjoyable. Just a couple of examples from many: when shown our room Annie asked if we would like refreshments whilst we settled in, we said we would make a cup of tea in the room and within a couple of minutes fresh milk was delivered without asking. Annie followed up by telephone to ensure milk had arrived and that all was OK with the room. Esley was very friendly and helpful both in the lounge on arrival and at breakfast next day. Wonderful location, welcome, service and decor. Will certainly return.

Room Tip: Our room was at the rear of the hotel overlooking the small park and was very quiet

No doubt, one of the best places to stay! Perfect location (just down the street from Harrods and the V & A, History, and Science museums), upscale, gorgeous neighborhood surrounding you, and most of all, a completely beautiful and very authentic British hotel that was 5 stars, all the way! Gorgeous furnishings, fabrics, everything spotless and beautifully done. The bar is so cozy that you can't help meeting and chatting with others that are there for Antonio's perfect martini! The afternoon tea was out of this world - delicious! The breakfast was everything you'd want and more. The service was delightful, accommodating, helpful, and always following up to ensure you had everything you needed. Quality restaurants are within walking distance as well. My husband and I have traveled extensively and always prefer smaller, boutique lodging. This one fit the bill exactly and far exceeded our expectations! We could't find anything to rate it less than a 10 and we consider ourselves very discerning customers!

Room Tip: Expect smaller rooms overall since that this typical for London. The fabrics, wallcoverings, beauti...

The Hotel staff are all very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived - we felt as though we'd known them for years. The Egerton is situated in a beautiful part of London very near Harrods in the heart of Knightsbridge, yet once inside the hotel you could be in a country retreat far away from the hussle and bussle of the big city. Our room was very comfortable, with everything we could wish for to make our stay memorable. A great selection was offered for breakfast - all was well presented and tasty. We will certainly go back again.

A girls weekend away with plenty if shopping and this is the perfect spot for proximity to harrods and the shops, without compromising proximity to restaurants... The rooms were a good size although the decor was busy making the seem smaller... Overall it was a lovely stay but make sure you load up your credit card before you go...at £18.50 for a martini, you'll feel the pinch ;-)

This place is a piece of service greatness. I would love to send hotel staff from other properties here to take notes! This boutique hotel cared for and looked after us in an exemplary way during our stay. Antonio continues to delight in his guests at the bar while Sylvain and David orchestrate the perfect stay from end to end. Our suite was well appointed as always. Attention to detail was paid from wake up calls to turn down service to bar service to room service.

I've stayed here a few times, but in prior stays I didn't realize the value that is room service with no extra charge. [Being a room service junkie] I wish that other properties did this as it adds to the relaxation and intimacy of your stay. Who wouldn't want to eat in their room when you are staying at a hotel of this caliber?? Additionally, with no extra charge you are more likely to order room service in the first place, order more involved meals (as you are saving on the 18%+ upcharge) and are certainly more likely to tip generously! Kudos to Egerton for having figured this out.

Every visit to EH we receive a restaurant recommendation and once again we added two great finds to the repertoire. In one case there was extra coverage at the front desk and we were accompanied by staff to the restaurant that was recommended. We were seated promptly, food was brought to our table in what seemed like record time and we left with bellies that were quite pleased.

Lastly, we were in a bit of a pinch when we realized that we didn't get VAT slips from some shops. It was late, stores were nearing close and we were leaving first thing in the morning. David sprung into action calling stores to verify VAT participation and gathering closing times for us. Within minutes our issue was resolved.

I simply cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Room Tip: Do go for the suite. You won't be sorry.
