A miniature jewel of an hotel perfectly situated for anything “Knightsbridge”.
Of course it goes without saying that the staff get to know you very quickly by name in this most intimate of buildings. It’s also a very special place to visit now that Antonio heads up the bar. A legend amongst his contemporaries and customers who really know their dry Martinis I most heartily suggest that you do not leave London until you’ve attended one of Antonio’s magical theatrical Martini experiences.
Oh, and the food’s great too!

We stayed over the weekend of the 1st April and were completely bowled over from the moment we arrived till we left by the wonderful staff. The room was superbly furnished and the bed gave us the best sleep we've ever had in a hotel! The breakfast is to die for, from lovely warm toast, perfectly cooked eggs. to hot tea and coffee! It is obvious that the hotel takes great care in the training of their staff and it is reflected in the attention to detail as well as their genuine care for you during your stay. Without doubt better than any of the larger 5 star hotels we've stayed at, and can't wait to find an excuse to revisit.

The staff's attention to detail and incredible courtesy is unbelievable! Truly feel like an honored guest from the moment we arrived! Antonio is a phenomenal bartender - a craftsman of an increasingly lost art. Great location also! Especially great service from Scott, David, Esley, Dario, Arnel, Annie, Feray and Issam. These folks will make your stay a pleasure. I have traveled all over the world and have not found a better place to stay.

Imagine.....
...A place where you are welcomed so warmly from the moment you step through the doors that you feel you have come to stay with family...
...Where you are shown to your beautiful and exceptionally stylish room with the warmth and pride that only staff who really love and believe in what they are doing could show you....
...Where you feel at home from the moment you start to unpack and take in all the comfort around you, with little personal touches that we have never found in any hotel we have ever stayed in.... a beautiful lily plant in the room, refreshments served immediately, beautiful hangers, toileteries to die for, soft slippers and dressing gowns, sumptuous pillows... the list is endless....
...Where the staff genuinely care about your comfort, feelings, and every need, and treat you like you are the most special person on earth. Letting you know at every moment that they are there for you and no request is too big or too small (as it says on the telephone: "whatever, whenever"...)...
...Where coming home from a busy tourist day in London feels so special, from the words of your new family "welcome back", to arriving in your room to an array of delights!!...
...Imagine if you can, standing in the doorway of your room, to find soft candles lit especially for your return, rose petals scattered around the room, on the tables and all around the bath, chocolate coated strawberries in a dish on the lovely table, our bed turned down (oh how we loved this special tradition there!) with little chocolates and messages about the weather and breakfast the next day, fresh coffee for the filter cafe, fresh toileteries, and the bed prepared for you to sink into...
...Imagine sleeping as though you are somewhere in the countryside, instead of in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world, in a bed that is so heavenly and with big fluffy pillows...
.... Then waking to your newspaper outside the door, a wander down edlegant corridors following the smells of your delicious breakfast in an lovely little breakfast room where your well being is once again made to feel so important...
...Imagine being asked if you can be helped with your plans for your stay in London and coming back from your day in the city to discover that fantastic tickets have been saved for you to see a west-end show, with offers to help you get there, where to eat,... everything made simple for you, everything to make you relax...
.... A place where you feel you haven't left until the moment you walk down the road with your suitcase, with your lovely new family watching you go and welcoming you to return again...
Do you think I am dreaming? No, I have stayed at the Egerton, a paradise on earth.
With our sincerest thanks everyone there, and we will come back again as soon as we can...
Jane and Chris

Room Tip: Everywhere, anywhere .... I can't imagine a single corner of the Egerton not being beautiful.

I stayed at the Egerton recently with my mother and young daughters for 9 days and everything about our stay was perfect. The service impeccable. The staff are attentive, kind, and friendly. The breakfast is simply divine. We were celebrating my mother's birthday and the staff made some lovely gestures to acknowledge her special day. I have stayed in many upscale hotels in Europe, Asia and the US, and the Egerton is easily at the top of the list for service.
