Great location but comes at a price. Through the night there is a lot of street noise and a significant rumble every 2 minutes from the underground that runs beneath the hotel.

Rooms are a good size but basic. Importantly they are nice and clean

Breakfast is a selection of cereals, pastries and cold ham and boiled eggs!

We booked a family room, which had two bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchenette. The beds weren't very comfortable, but ok. The room was really outdated. Needs to be refreshed. Breakfast was really busy but had a decent selection. The hotel is in a great location.

Great location and nice enough for a business trip. Though really bad if you need wifi to get work done. There are no passwords, so you have to keep on completing a form on the hotel website to get connected. Frustrating!

We booked into Astor Court for a short weekend (3 nights) with my friends. As we intended to spend most of our time sight-seeing and not in the hotel, The location was good, with a few minutes walk away from Oxford Circus, and the double room itself although basic, was clean and tidy. But not so good wifi :(

The hotel is in the quiet Hallam Street (you can hear the Underground in "the far distance") just 5 mins walk from Oxford Circus and Street and the Underground - and a pub just at the corner!!. Nicely renovated old building. We were welcomed by very polite and helpsome staff. Very large and comfortable rooms. Breakfast room was a little crowded (guess that they open to the garden during summertime). The breakfast was fine - can suggest som hot egg and bacon to served.
Only to be recommended.

Room Tip: Quiet placed hotel, near Underground, shopping and sightseeing

Booked into Astor Court for one night on a short weekend trip with my partner. As we intended to spend most of our time sight-seeing and not in the hotel, Astor Court was ideal! The location was perfect, with a few minutes walk away from Oxford Circus, and the double room itself although basic, was clean and tidy. The bed was also very comfortable! Staff were friendly, and the continental breakfast was well stocked up! Highly recommended for anyone who's wanting a central location and doesn't require extensive amenities.

We had a horrible experience due to a very unprofessionally, poorly behaving and rude receptionist - Jennifer. We checked in on Dec. 23 and after we got into our room she called the room and said "she need to talk to me immediately and I need to come down." I found her tone very unusual for a receptionist to say that. Once I got there, she told me we can't have four people in the room. There were to adults and two kids (4 and 5 years old). She said she has called Expedia (I booked through hotels.com and not Expedia) and that they will arrange for us but we have to 'vacant the room immediately' and we won't get any refund. I told her the kids are sleeping and if we have to change I am willing to pay an extra but it is too late to seek other hotel that late. She said we can stay to night but have to vacant tomorrow morning or make some other arrangement. We have traveled through out the world and have stayed in many hotel. Receptionist are often helpful to clients and accommodating but not repulsive like her. I asked her to call Expedia and she was so rude to them that they even hang up on her. She also told me to move away from her desk while she is on the phone with them. She was behaving very unprofessional to a customer which I was shocked to find. Nevertheless, we ended up booking additional rooms at the same hotel, since we won't get a refund for the rooms we already paid, and we never used the other rooms - haven't even picked up the keys and no other receptionist ever said anything else.
