Easy to find like most hotels reception area is always smarter . Room was tidy , usual tea facilities. As it was a ground floor room was unable to open windows more than a couple of inches, was a highly problem because very stuffy , but didn't spoil anything , ,
Quiet road about 25 mins to the queens theatre.
Breakfast room was reminiscent of butlins with tables in rows , but was clean , though there were some individual ones . Continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh , yes maybe not a five star hotel , but typical London prices , and next time we are back in London would stay again . WiFi was there but not secure

Room Tip: There are cheaper hotels in and around the West end , but this is out the way and quiet

Looks good outside, very tired and ordinary inside. Staff friendly and helpful.
Continental breakfast included was quite ordinary and kitchen dining room tired.

Located only five minutes walk from either Oxford Circus or Great Portland Road tube stations.
5 minutes walk from shopping at Regent Street and Oxford Street and easy access to Carnaby Street night district.
Several pubs and restaurants within a minute or two walk.
Price was 258 pounds for two nights in a double room.

Maybe good value for money, but consider it just a sleeping place.

This hotel is value for money. It was clean but nothing fancy. Some reviewers want 5 star hotel for 3 star prices! The breakfast is continental but pretty good choice. The breakfast room can be a bit of a squeeze. Good location near oxford street and next to bbc studios.
I would stay at this hotel again if I was looking to stay in this area of London. If you want something more upmarket it will be substantially more expensive.

Looks fine from the outside but seriously poor rooms, scruffy decor, scruffy furniture and dodgy electrics. Massively overpriced. Wouldn't recommend at all. I know it's London but that shouldn't be an excuse for such a dump at that price

Basic room for a decent rate and good location on a quiet street fairly close to tube stations and main attractions. Breakfast was included with fresh pastries, juice, milk, cereal, yogurt cheese, eggs etc.

We've stayed at the Astor Court before and will do again, good area, close to Oxford Street and Wogan house for any fans wanting to see who's on on Radio 1 & 2, looking forward to going back this year. Friendly staff clean and tidy hotel although could do with a bit decorating in some rooms.

Value for money: 1 night in March (7th to 8th) £139 including breakfast (though we had to miss it because of time constrain and therefore cannot comment on it).

POSITIVE:-
- Great location: just over 5 minutes from The Portland Hospital.
- Clean
- Helpful reception (evening receptionist - not so helpful morning receptionist).

NEGATIVE:-
- Noise: one can hear the underground (right underneath most hotels in this area...) even on the 2nd floor.
- Tired: thought one can see the effort towards making the guests stay a pleasant as possible. Additionally, these are old buildings.

The bed was comfortable enough.
We did not have time to check the wifi.

Room Tip: If bothered about noise ask for a room at the very top of the hotel
