I travelled with my family ( two young kids 3 and 6 years ) and reserved a One bedroom suite perfect for us because we had a room for us and a sofabed for the kids in the livingroom. This kind of room features the access to the club lounge where you can have breakfast ( very limited choices ) and a disappointing afternoon snack ( empty bowls and you have to ask so many times to have a replacement ! ), and staff not very kind with kids. The location, in the heart of Mayfair , is perfect for shopping ( Selfridge's one block ) and good restaurants .

Rooms were very comfartable. We slept well; beds were clean and room was quite.

However, if you are hungry, the breakfast is not sufficient and if you have kids, there is no more choice for them. Further, İf you want to have a dinner at hotel restaurant you have to make a reservation before.

The Marriott Grosvenor Square is smart, in a goodish location and the young woman on reception was very welcoming. My room was tiny and I hit my legs on the wood-framed bed at least half a dozen times, bruising myself qute badly.
The room was wickedly expensive at £274.80 for the night - excluding breakfast - but if you want a room that is big enough to negotiate your way around without bumping into the bed, you'll have to pay more for a bigger room.
The bed itself was quite comfortable and the room was reasonably quiet with just some low-level hum to keep you awake. This place was so costly - you even have to pay extra if you want to use the internet - that I decided I could not afford to buy breakfast (even though someone else was paying). Plus, you can't even get BBC Radio 4 on the telly, which turned itself on three times in the night without being asked.

An early spring weekend in London. The Marriot at Grosvenor Square has an ideal location, quiet but yet close to restaurant, shopping and art.
Small room but quite adequate for a short stay. Prices as always in London on the hig side.
Nice staff.

Second time I have stayed here and was disappointed this time with the size of the room which whilst very comfortable was on the small side, Check-in was slow as was the service at breakfast. That said good menu choice and great quality. It's the location which makes this hotel an ideal base for a short stay with Oxford street/ Selfridges and main stores just minutes away as well as a good choice of restaurants nearby and the Bond Street tube station is a short walk making it easy to get around to other locations eg Victoria Station for Gatwick is just a ten minute ride.

Great Front Desk. Nice Rooms, although each room is almost different fro the other similarly rated room. Non-smoking hotel, so ask for a room with a balcony if you must. They had bad rooms but it seems they have completed renovating all the rooms. I Think. Don't quote me. the ones i have been in lately were renovated. i did have a below-average room before but never in the last three years. SKIP the business lounge option. not really worth it. just a hall underground with TV, newspapers, some free beverages.

Room Tip: Non-smoking hotel, so ask for a room with a balcony if you must. SKIP the business lounge option...

very easy to get to almost all of London from this location. Three minutes to Oxford street, and about the same to Hyde Park. Pub, resturants and cafes close by - just outside the hotel.
Room are good, newly decorated and lovely floors ( but very cold in the wintertime!) bathroom with nice details, very good sleeping comfort. Had two connecting rooms.Great service.

Room Tip: Higher floors will get you a good view of the city
