We've been there for a week, I wish we could sray longer!
The rooms are big (you can say huge for London), the room is well decorated, spotless, the bath room is huge, the staff is very welcoming and helpfull.
The breakfast is really good and there is a nice bar on the ground floor.
There is a subway very close, an excelent indian reasturant close by, Grafonkel across the street and you can walk to the amaizing natural museum every day...

Dear Ravit1
Thank you for leaving your review of our hotel, my team are all delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much.
As well as all the great restaurants nearby, we have now opened a great Asian restaurant in the hotel - Umami, which offers a range of authentic Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean and Vietnamese dishes in stylish surroundings influenced by a Feng Shue Master. I hope you will give Umami a visit on your next trip to London.

Good location, 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube. Room (102) not spacious though very comfortable and quiet with no view. Check-in very slow and staff seemed to have their own agendas and were aloof rather than welcoming you. Business only, won't go there as a break

Room Tip: Room 102 end of coridor and quiet. No view and not that spacious for a CP

This is certainly not the norm, and all our team are focussed on putting our guests first. Our Reception manager will discuss your comments with her team to try and find out what went wrong and to ensure that in future, all our guests get the personal attention that we have become known for.

Stayed two nights in April for business. Room was large, especially by European standards, and very clean. Hotel staff is professional. Breakfast buffet is decent. Hotel has some attractions nearby (2 minutes to Victoria and Albert Museum, 20 minutes to Harrod's). Tube stop within a block on the same line as Piccadilly, Covent Garden, etc.

Free wifi in lobby only annoying.

We stayed four nights on a business trip (paid for, so I don't know value for money). Very convenient location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was bright and clean, if a little functional and lacking in character. A good, standard English breakfast was provided.
Our room was on the top floor and although clean and reasonably comfortable, there were some drawbacks.
1) It was very hot and even with the aircon on full we still required the window to be open as far as it would go- this made it noisy at night as we faced the Cromwell Road.
2) There was very little storage space for clothes.
3) The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was badly lit and was difficult to use if, like me, you aren't very tall!! Not good for applying makeup.
We were charged for an extra breakfast but this was rectified when pointed out.
I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.

Dear mbwam
Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to read that you will stay with us again despite the few shortcomings you experienced in your room.
IPlease ask for a room on a low floor overlooking the garden on your next visit - you will find these rooms very quiet even with the window open. I will of course ask our engineer to check the air conditioning to ensure ther are no faults.

Always try to stay in this Crowne Plaza when in London even if it means as not as central to meetings etc as i would like to be. The hotel is ideally situated for restuarants, tube etc and in my opinion is so much better than the Holiday Inn across the road. The suites are great with the downstairs lounge and sleeping area upstairs giving it more of an small apartment feel.
I have always found the staff to be excellent adn willing to assist, the rooms to be immaculate and spacious regardlessof suite or standard.
Walking distance to Harrods and many other key locations in london and easily accessible for the tube.

Room Tip: if you can afford it or get a deal go for a suite.
