This place was amazing. Live music was great and the food was excellent. The waiter service was on point couldn’t fault them either. Has an indoor cigar shop where not only can you purchase a cigar but also smoke it. Great night 10 out of 10

We went for the Easter Sunday roast and jazz experience. They sat us by a window table as requested and there was no trouble with the telephone booking as people have complained. They answered first ring and I received a confirmation email before the call ended!

We had the 3 course set menu. The food was generous, good options and more importantly tasted fantastic.

The jazz music was really good too and we weren’t rushed to leave.

The only negative is that we had to keep asking for our water to be refilled when other diner had this done without asking. We felt a bit excluded.

It was quite difficult to get to venue due to train closures but we we're looking forward to Sunday Lunch and Jazz. Warm welcome, great table for two. Waiter was lovely but the food was not good. Masses of beef but not of good quality and everything else was rather amateur. Jazz hardly featured. In hindsight I wouldn't have made the effort .

Visited Boisdale for the second time last night to see Legend, the Bob Marley tribute band. The band were faultless, the food was great and the service improved since my last visit. Best gin n tonic ever! Atmosphere fabulous with the whole place on their feet dancing, wonderful night, will return soon.

We went to Boisdale with another couple for dinner on a week night, and this place was buzzing! The restaurant itself is charming - cosy, subtly lit, and well furnished. We had delicious scallop and prawn starters, followed by on the bone steaks, all recommended by our wonderfully attentive waiter, Trevor.
One of the attractions of the restaurant was the live music which started during dinner. We enjoyed the music very much, but our only criticism would be that it was a fraction too loud.
I would very much recommend this restaurant to those that enjoy live music and lovely in lively surroundings. If you're a whisky lover, I would imagine it's a must as it has the biggest whisky bar I've ever seen - around 300 bottles we were told! All in all a very positive experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
