Description: Situated in the original station's ticket hall, the Booking Office Bar & Restaurant at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel is one of the most inspirational places to enjoy a drink in the City. Reviving the tradition of the station cafe, the cathedral-like drama of the space, combined with 29m-long bar and menu serving classic British dishes, are conversation-stoppers at any time of day. A striking setting for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, the Booking Office also offers an array of punches and mixed drinks recreated from lost recipes from the Victorian era, as well as a range of bespoke and seasonal cocktails.

On a cold rainy day, we enjoyed a bowl of the soup of the day...tomato. It was wonderful served with a pone of yummy bread and butter. We also shared an order of fish and chips. It was but the skin was still on the fish. Not my fav!

Lured in by the architectural splendor of the Booking Office, we peeked in and asked the hostess if there were bar seats available. She literally slid two stools to the bar and invited us to sit down, Thank You!

Next we navigated the guide of elixirs and potions. So many splendid samplings you’ll want to try them all. Master Mixologist crafting cocktails, it is as much Fun to watch as to indulge.

The food is great here and it's a very cool place with both older and younger alike that enjoy the atmosphere and food.

Second review. We arrived at our hotel across the street late at night, starving hungry after a transatlantic flight, and the BO had a late night menu so was an ideal choice.
The decor was still magnificent, the prices still high, but the service friendlier and faster than last visit in 2017. My wife had the toasted ham and cheese, which she really enjoyed. I ordered the beef burger, which added a whole new meaning to "well done". It must have been on the grill since breakfast time. It was so well done it was crispy and tough to cut. The burger was nevertheless quite tasty. Is this the new thing in burgers? Both of us had the excellent French fries. The wines by the glass were a very odd collection, and costly, but certainly drinkable.
But there was still that ridiculous, tuneless and annoying music. Why is this necessary? Would anyone miss it if it wasn't there? Have they ever asked their customers? As far as I could see, the customers were there for conversation as well as sustenance . With all the faults, it's still a great place for a drink and a light meal.

A restaurant with lots of atmosphere with attentive , helpful staff.
The pricing is probably what you would expect for London and the food was fine
The only problem we had was our vegetables were not hot enough which really should not happen
