This really is a super place for a relaxing and delicious lunch/dinner. The dining room is charming with a wonderfully discreet ambiance and tables are artfully placed, giving diners ample privacy. Staff are delightful, efficient, helpful and knowledgable. The sommelier was particularly informative regarding our choice of an unusual south western French white, which was absolutely delicious. Apparently it was the last bottle in stock and I sincerely hope that more are acquired! It goes without saying that food here is highly accomplished, presentation skilful and taste impeccable-in short, I couldn’t fault the experience and without a doubt I shall return.

Arrived and shown to a great round table in a booth, in a group of 4 we all ordered drinks. Food was excellent, service attentive without being overbearing. Definitely recommend.

I’ve eaten a few times at Alyn Williams at the Westbury.
It’s always been excellent, with great service.
Last night the service was excellent but the food very disappointing.
As my company is vegan I decided to try the vegetarian tasting menu.
There were a few highlights in what was generally a series of insipid mouthfuls.
And, at £90 for the set menu, I’m still trying to work out why they added another £10 as follows:
Tofu taco/chipotle mayo/dirty guacamole/green gazpacho
(As seen on television’s MasterChef - £10 Supplement)
Despite the additional charge, again the portions were minute.
The highlight of the meal was the canapés before and the petite fours after.
With service and a glass of champagne, it came to £150/Head.
I tipped the maitre d’hotel an extra £10 each, for his excellent service.
But the meal was very disappointing; mouthfuls of nothing.

This is the 2nd time we've eaten here, and we return as we were blown away with the brilliant and imaginative cooking last time.

As before we had the tasting menu. The food was brilliantly cooked and very tasty. The staff were helpful, knowledge and efficient. But something about the experience this time was missing. We were in a side room instead of the main restaurant so the atmosphere was lacking. The food felt a bit formulaic, like the kitchen was just going through the motions - and for the money I expected to be blown away as we were the first.

Don't get me wrong, the cooking and food is excellent and every morsels delicious. If you have never eaten here before, and want fine dining then don't hesitate - just book it.
