In this day and age where most eating places are chain type establishments , it was refreshing to find a ‘proper’ individual place for breakfast, nothing flashy here, which is part of why we loved it.
Breakfast delicious and not too expensive, would definitely visit again.
Staff super friendly too.

We enjoyed the eggs royale (poached eggs with smoked salmon, hollandaise sauce on toasted muffins), bacon bap and a pot of tea for 2. Nice friendly cafe and great spot to watch the world go by.

Gorgeous breakfast food for 4 before a trip into London to see the sights, great service and the food was quick, hot and plentiful. Its a no frills ‘greasy spoon’ type of of place but just was what we needed.

Happened to be in Camden early on a Saturday morning ... there wasn’t much open so decided to give the “lost elephant cafe” a try. Food took a while to come but that’s not a bad thing shows it’s fresh and it was served piping hot.... breakfast was traditional and was ok.
