We stayed for 1 nights in this hotel with 3 friends of mine.
The location is perfect, 2minutes walk from St Pancras. The room was pretty, convenient and clean. The bathroom was very nice. The bed were comfy.
If I have to go back to London, I'll be back in that hotel and I have already advised all of my friends to stay there.

I was in Jesmond Dene Hotel between 5th to 15th December, 2011 and it was wonderful i shall always stay at Jesmond Dene Hotel anytime i am in London.

The hotel is very neat and smells excellent no odor, the carpet are very clean and the walls. The hotel is well maintained.

The staff members are great and very warm.

Room Tip: Take rooms on the ground floor

Except for the tiny room, everything is better than I expected. The room was clean, shower is hot and comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the hotel location is excellent (just a few mins walk to Kings Cross station).

Room Tip: No lift, better ask for ground floor if you got big luggages.

Others have mentioned the small rooms. and I guess if you're over 6' and/or 14kilo you'd do better somewhere else, but we were fine as the room & en suite (we had superior double) are so well set out and equipped that you have all you need.
Lovely staff - welcoming & informed, no probs over leaving luggage for 1/2 day : good, home cooked breakfast - more limited choice than some, but compensated by freshness.
Tip - book direct for best prices.

We've spent the weekend visiting a friends party and were looking for a central location. The hotel is close to Kings Cross / St. Pancras, gives you access to all key areas and keeps your accommodation budget under control. Staff is very friendly and eager to help you with anything you need. The only thing I would do differently next time is to choose a room with en-suite bathroom. Ours was on the floor.....

We chose Jesmond Dene based on both the reviews and the location (as we were taking the Eurostar from St. Pancras Station the following day). The hotel was a one block easy walk away; however, if you stay here or any of the bed and breakfasts around this area make sure you have a map of exactly where the hotel is or you may be asking for directions. The staff was very family-centered and sweet, and breakfast, traditional sausage and eggs, was just the right amount to last us until midday. The room, as some have mentioned WAS very small (I'd say 100 square feet or so), but nicely appointed in modern style. A little pricy for the space, but I have no regrets.

We spent two nights at the Jesmond Dene and found it a nice place to come to after beating the pavements of London morning til night. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from the front desk on. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The bathroom was newly decorated with a rain shower which was terrific, thirsty oversized towels, and the room had wonderful light. The room had two singles and one double bed in the "crow's nest" which was reached by climbing three stories of spiral stairs that narrowed after each floor - not for the stout, elderly, or those carrying children. We were none of those and still, getting our luggage to the room was quite the feat! Breakfast was hot and fresh with the basics being served: juice, coffee, tea, milk, eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, toast, cold cereal, English muffin, and porridge, Both street noise, especially sirens, and the jovial group next door arriving after midnight kept us awake the first night. Thankfully, the second night was much quieter inside and out. The mattresses were not bad (nor terrific) but the pillows and down comforter were nice. There were tea and coffee and plenty of drawer and counter space. The TV was an amazingly large and high quality flat-screen by Samsung. They were very kind to hold our luggage for several hours on our arrival and departure days. The hotel is located at the King's Cross Station which made it wonderfully convenient.
