I've lived around the docklands for a few years but only went there yesterday: free, contemporary, excellently desinged and planned. THe place feels like it opened just yesterday, everything is so well maintained. Friendly staff, cute shop, nice cafe. RECOMMENDED 9btu keep in midn you might need a few hours to really appreciate this place)

“Great displays and information”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 April 2012

A very interesting day out at the Museum of London Docklands. There was much more to this museum than we had expected and the information was very well set out and extremely interesting. We liked the variety of ways the information is presented including films and the set of of the museum which takes you through the chronological history over the three floors of the building is very well done.
Got a bit overcrowded and the cafe was too full but that was probably as it was Bank Holiday. Well worth a visit and FREE!
