Yep the downside to this hotel is that's it's a 15'min walk to a tube.
You can however use your tube ticket for buses or use contactless on the bus system after all you should see all of London!
The receptionist was grumpy but the rest of the staff were lovely- even chased up my missing scarf!
Restaurant food was lovely but room service took nearly an hour for a £20 bottle of really bad wine.
The upside of this hotel is the pool! Very warm and often deserted.
I had a whole hour between 8am -9am of swimming alone and didn't even see anyone in the corridors
They do often have swimming lessons for children but again only about 5 children and the pool is open til 10pm 7 days a week so shouldn't be an issue
The hotel was quiet and heard no traffic noise
The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean- the door handle to our room however kept coming off! The maids were also efficient.
As someone who wanted a pool as good as this everything else was minor
If you're looking for a quiet hotel and don't mind a travel this is for you
If you're new to London and want to be in the hustle and bustle you can get a central hotel for £30 a night more.
I would stay here again, for the pool.More
