Owner description: A new heart for east London, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is the city's newest park. It will be a new home to thousands and a new destination for millions. The Park is now open for the public to visit and is already coming alive as visitors explore its unique parklands, waterways, venues and attractions. The north of the Park and the Copper Box Arena opened in 2013 with a series of incredible festivals and concerts, and the south of the Park, including three iconic venues and the ArcelorMittal Orbit, opened in April 2014.

Great park with a lovely cafe. Lots of Easter activities taking place while we were there such as an egg hunt, games in the cafe and a children’s fun run. Shame that half of the playground was closed off due to needing repair. There was a fun fair but no parking at all so we couldn’t go to it and the children were disappointed.

Having been to the Olympics we wanted to revisit the park without all the crowds, tents etc. It is wonderful to see that they have maintained it as a lovely environment to walk around and enjoy the tranquillity. Riverside walks, gardens, wheelchair accessible paths and lots more. Unfortunately it was raining for our visit but it didn't deter us. We were allowed to go inside the swimming pool and velodrome and there were things to watch going on in both venues. Any staff members we spoke to were extremely welcoming and pleasant. We didnt try to visit the actual stadium as wr had been inside before. If I lived nearby I would certainly be a frequent visitor to this amenity.

With Saracens having switched from Wembley for their match against Harlequins i was looking forward to seeing the stadium for the first time. Nice easy trip into Stratford on the jubilee line, bit of a walk and there it is. So far so good. Then with gate 'b' tickets, we were not allowed over the first bridge near 'a' but made to walk around the whole stadium, 25 mins later we were 5 mins from where we started. That's the difference between stewards that deal with football fans and rugby supporters. Moan over, once inside. Great venue, plenty of bars, food retailers, helpful staff, roomy comfortable seats, ample clean facilities etc etc. A great place, just let the staff know that rugby fans don't need segregation! If you haven't been you should look for a reason to check it out.

The good part is the amazing volunteers who staff the blue badge car park.

From then on it is downhill all the way rapidly.

It took over 7 months of badgering, emails and phone calls to achieve a ticket for the car park. Once past the charming volunteers we met the security staff!

Do West Ham fans really pay to be herded about like cattle, up endless, steep concrete staircases with the whiff of latent aggression in the air?

Massive queues for every vendor and once at the front they were either sold out or only selling lager.

Aviva Premiership Rugby it said on the posters. The Double Champions of Europe, 55k plus rugby fans! How totally underprepared was this venue?

A celebration became an arduous, painful drudge up to the nosebleed section for those of us on crutches or in need of walking sticks.

Please, please do not ever take us back to this awful place.
