Visited here for drinks one evening. It’s a stunning location, both the view and the decor. It is expensive, so be warned (bottle of prosecco £48) but great as a treat and experience. However be warned, they add a 13% “discretionary service charge”. Having paid the bill I checked with the waitress that the money went to them, and she said it didn’t, it simply went to the management. That is both very unfair and pretty dishonest. The waitresses and all the staff were excellent, so refuse the service charge and tip them the usual way!

Firatly yes it can be a little exownsive. But the food was amazing. We were smart enough to have the set 3 courses for £45 with water. The drinks are a tad expensive but the measures were a plenty. The staff are all in Ted Baker uniforms. Very smart. They are very polite and professional. Suffwrinv myself from allergies. I live that they ask the table for any and then make an electronic note of it. They arent over bearing. We were booked for 230. After our amazing startets we were moved to the window view. Though we could see the veiws from where we were. I dont think t2ou can book inadvance for a window table but it shouldnt be a deal breaker. My friends had the flat bread for starters and i had the mozzarella. For main course we had the sea bass. The chicken and the gnocchi. The desserts were also amazing. We finishwd off our trip by popping next door ans having a pot of tea. The day we went it rained but it didn't stop the day from being a special occasion. Cant wait yo go again.

Saturday night meal for four couldn't be easier!! after the ridiculous security check ( i wouldn't mind usually but when people are just walking straight in through the out lane it was a joke ). The restaurant looks nice, seated promptly. Then it goes down hill, choice of drinks is appalling, prices are ridiculous. Food ordered quickly two steaks arrived both not cooked to spec both very rare should have been medium. This was not the big problem, a group of 6 youths hovering around drunk shouting annoying customers under the staff and securities noses. i have never witnessed such a blattent use of location to extort. More fool anyone who thinks the view will compensate.

Well where do I start, the steak tartar starter was AMAZING, the lamb rump with garlic seasoned creamy mash potato was divine to accompany the green beans. The dessert mount Blanc yummy! I’m a chef and I couldn’t fault the food and service at all. The kitchen staff were very friendly too! My only criticism is the hallway to the toilets were too dark! Definitely worth a visit, bring you torch though when going to visit the powder room! If you got mugged you wouldn’t recognise anyone it’s that dark

Overall a nice experience for a one off visit, but would not return due to the service and prices as high as the restaurant itself.

I came here with my partner for a celebratory dinner. We were greeted by friendly staff, who lead us to our seats. The atmosphere was very nice, and of course the view was amazing. We weren't able to get a window seat but the views weren't spoilt by that. We ordered a starter to share (salmon flat bread), two burgers, two sides of mash, and two desserts at £10 each. The food itself was okay - tasty with good sized portions, but not worth the extortionate prices. We also felt a bit coerced to buy water (we weren't offered tap water until after we bought a bottle and had finished our meal, where they continuously poured us some from a jug). Similarly, although service was generally very speedy, it slowed considerably after asking for the bill. We were made to wait 20 minutes to receive the bill, and there was an added £22 service charge to our already large £90 bill (for a shared starter, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 lemonades and a bottle of still water). We did not feel the service was worth this amount but when the server finally came, she didn't even ask us if we were happy paying the full amount and once again felt coerced to do so.

I believe there are much nicer restaurants to visit for the price we paid. The cost was for the view, and not the food or service.
