Having heard some good things we decided to head to Chotto Matte for a light dinner before a show in town. Everything on the menu jumped out at is so it ended up being a rather long and not so light dinner!
Very impressed by the successful fusion of Japanese/Peruvian, both respecting and challenging tradition where it worked. And it all worked.
The tuna tostaditos were incredible. The spinach, ponzu and truffle salad, gyoza, sushi, miso chicken and the soft shell crab, all incredibly good.
This is a very clever restaurant with some lovely plays on flavour. Delicious and highly recommended. Great vibe and very relaxed atmosphere - will also be looking out for their playlist..!
