Stayed for 1 night at end of March and glad it was for only one night. The only positive about this place is location. It is a two minute walk to St Pancras underground and a direct link with Heathrow Airport. As a result of this they charge more like a very high end hotel.
The issues were a TV I couldn't get to work. A room safe which was not working unless I used the master key in the office because the electronics were screwed up. Last but not least the bed was lumpy and you rolled to the middle. The place was clean but when you looked at the carpets they were very dated and were lumpy and shabby looking. The elevator doesn't go to the top floor where our suite happended to be. The steps are narrow and very steep to these upper floor rooms. Good thing I go to the gym every day or I'm quite sure I wouldn't have made it up to the room. In conclusion I'm surprised Choice hotels keeps this business as one of theirs as it poorly represents their brand.

We previously have stayed in the travelodge at kings cross, that being full we came across this on late rooms. It was a real find, clean, huge suites for £99 and continental and cereal breakfast included. The staff were friendly with one unjamming the battery out of my camera for me as part of the willingness to make the stay an enjoyable one. Great hotel, will certainly stay again especially as it is handily placed near kings cross although away from the main thoroughfares.

Room Tip: Suite 12 has a double and two singles.

We stayed overnight at the hotel before an early morning start on the Eurostar as it was so close to Kings Cross and St Pancras. Our room was pleasant, we had two bedrooms, one double and one twin for just two of us. We were on the ground floor which didn't give the room much of a view and it seemed quite dark. The beds were comfortable but having the kitchenette was useful as we ate in our room in the evening. Breakfast was a disappointment, a very small room in which to eat with very little room to move around in. The fruit juice was awful - avoid it. Quite expensive but good location near the stations.

Very convenient to Kings Cross and St Pancras stations, very clean. We had a large room with four beds which would be ideal for a family, but it was in the basement and had very little appeal. Limited cooking facilities (microwave, sink, plates, cutlery) but no tea towels or detergent. Tea Coffee facilities. Fridge. Continental breakfast was just adequate and provided in very small breakfast room. Staff not terribly communicative. Very expensive for what you get, but very handy to the station.

Room Tip: If you dont need all the beds try and avoid the basement room.

Stayed at this hotel for one night before heading to Paris. It was a great location for us because it was less than 5 minute walk to King's Cross and St. Pancras which we needed. Staff was not the most welcoming/helpful, but we didn't have any issues. Room was decent size and clean. Room was on the 1st floor right near the front desk, but we had no noise issues. We only needed the one room but we had a suite. I agree with other reviews- it would be ok for families or friends, but not 2 couples. You have to enter the other room to get to the bathroom which would disturb those in that room with the 2 twin beds. Overall, good for us because of the location.

We spent one night on the way home from Paris in a 'suite' at this hotel. We had two adjoining rooms (both very small), one with a double bed tv and tea and coffee making facilities the other with the only (tiny) en suite bathroom and a kitchen of sorts. This meant that the people in one room had to disturb the people in the other room for the full use of the facilities which might just work for a couple with children but is hopeless for less intimate friends. The breakfast room in the basement is small and overcrowded with tables and made the self service arrangement almost unmanageable. The food was limited and poor and at £200 for one night was terrible value.
