“Great hotel, great location for the O2.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2012

We chose this hotel as it is so close to the O2 (one stop on the Jubilee Line). We had a wonderful stay. The room was huge and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The DLR runs alongside the hotel and as we were on the third floor, it seemed very close. We could hear it when we were trying to get to sleep. Everything else was perfect. We will definitely stay there again. Many thanks.

Room Tip: Request a room on a high floor or away from the DLR.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us when you were recently in London for an event at the o2. I was pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay, finding our rooms spacious, clean & comfortable. I was sorry to learn that you were disturbed as a result from the Docklands Light Railway. When the hotel was constructed the noise nuisance was taken into consideration in order to minimise this for our guests. Should you return to the hotel in the future please do not hesitate to request for a room on a higher floor and we will do our best to fulfil your request. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Stayed for three nights. Very good modern hotel, rooms are large, well equpped and extremely clean and comfortable. The only caveat I would add is that the track of the Docklands Light Railway runs right in front of the hotel and is, obviously, noisy. On our first night we had a room at the front of the hotel. After one night we asked to be moved due to the noise. We were courteously moved without a fuss. Although there is little near the hotel in terms of shops and restaurants, you can be in the West End in under half an hour. All in all, a very good hotel.

Thank you for your feedback which certainly helps us to monitor and improve our services. I was glad that in general you enjoyed your stay at the hotel and found the rooms to be large and well equipped. However I am sorry you were disturbed as a result from the Docklands Light Railway, when the hotel was constructed the noise nuisance was taken into consideration in order to minimise this for our guests. Should you return to the hotel in the future please do not hesitate to request for a room on a higher floor with a river view and subject to availability we will do our best to fulfil your request.

We have stayed in various Hilton hotels around London (and worldwide) and have to say that Hilton Canary Wharf tops them. Impressed every time by the wonderful staff at the Hilton Canary Wharf. The hotel is clean, exactly as you expect it to be and staff always friendly (especially at the Executive lounge level). Great deals at the weekend and perfect location. Thank you for great customer service and we will continue to be loyal Hilton honors members.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the lift as quieter.

Stayed here for 2 nights early March. When we checked in we were given a complimentary upgrade to a double deluxe room. All staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean and good bathroom. A wide range of choice for breakfast which was of a high standard, hot food was hot! service on our second day for tea & coffee was a bit slow but not much of a problem to us. The hotel has easy to access to the city within 20 minutes using the underground. There are lots of places to eat in canary wharf along the riverside. My daughter and her boyfriend are staying here in May as they got such a good deal, hope they have as wonderful time as we did. Would stay here again if visiting London without hesitation especially if i could get a good rate.

Stayed here over the weekend for two nights. The staff were very polite and the room was very clean definately high standards.
The room was incredibly big , bigger than we thought and the view was incredible especially at night. Got a good deal to stay here and was definately worth the money. My only hangup was how expensive everything was at the hotel especially the breakfast which is £21 pp per day!! And the wifi which I thought was free at first then found out it is £22 per day !!! Bit much for wireless in my opinion but overall a very gud stay

It is a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay at the hotel and found the room to be spacious and the team members were polite. The cost of the internet is £14.99 for 24 hours or free in all public areas. Thank you for your feedback.

My wife and I have stayed on a fair few number of occasions at the Tower Bridge Hilton, but a last minute get together with friends made this a good venue. What a great find!! The boutique feeling of the Hotel is very much like the Tower Bridge Hilton, with similar furnishings and overall design and with the added benefit of the attitude of the staff, you would not think that these are part of a worldwide chain.

Turning to the Canary Wharf Hilton, the location is pretty good with access via a footbridge to Canary Wharf Underground Station, rather than opting to walk down the road to the Docklands Light Railway, as the interchange between the DLR and the Tube at Canary Wharf Station actually means you walk further!!

The rooms are spacious and the furniture and fittings are all still in good shape; we were fortunate enough to be upgraded due to our Hilton Honours Status and the Executive Rooms here are larger than at Tower Bridge. The Photos here on Trip Advisor do the place justice and give a very good representation of what you get here. The real gem of this Hotel was a very large Executive Lounge with excellent staff and services and a fantastic view of London. I particularly liked the silhouette of the London Skyline etched on the Executive Lounge windows.

One tip is that just down the road and across from South Quay Station is a Tescos Supermarket that is open every day (including Sundays) from 7am to 11pm. Very useful for those things you might leave behind

All in all this was a great find and will be a strong contender for our repeat visits to London

Room Tip: High Floor, the adjacent Docklands Light Railway is noisy

I stayed at the Hilton Canary Wharf for 3 nights with my husband as part of a 10 day holiday in London. I was in this end of town for a conference at the ExCel. I am so glad I chose to stay in Canary Wharf at this hotel rather than closer to the conference centre. Canary Wharf has such a modern vibe to it.

Pros:
- friendly staff
- very spacious and clean rooms, house keeping do a brilliant job each day with room tidying
- the rooms have a duress alarm which I've never seen before, made me feel safe on the night I was alone
- spacious bathroom with a proper bath
- comfortable bed
- gym is 24 hours and very clean, staff regularly check in which is good if you're a solo female traveller and exercise alone in the gym, good for peace of mind
- excellent value breakfast
- very easy access to the DLR and then only a 20 minute trip to the ExCel
- the heart of Canary Wharf is around 5 minutes walk to the right of the hotel over a lovely bridge, there's so much life there again I felt very safe on my own
- very close proximity to the shops of Canary Wharf
- powerful hair dryer in room
- good quality toiletries
- other reviewers commented on the noise level but on the 9th floor, I never had any problem with the trains zooming past, in fact it was noisier at the ExCel

Cons:
- none really, this was a great value stay and an excellent base from which to explore the local area. Such a contrast to London city itself.
