Rooms were nice and clean. No trouble there - But the bartenders were rude as hell. They wouldnt answer to my requests and just stared at me like i was dumb. Drinks were expensive but not great at all.

We had a fabulous stay at the Wombats Hostel. The location was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind, genuine and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was great that we could use our key cards for the lockers. There was also a USB port on each of the beds which made it far more convenient.
The shower was a nice bonus as there was great water precious and it was separate from the toilet.
I do wish maybe there was a mirror in the room, and not bathroom, as the lighting was not 1005 in the bathroom.
The hostel bar was amazing! Lots of fun with all the different drinking games as well as Trivia! Music and drinks were perfect!

Clean and spacious rooms with security of your goods. Fun loving activities take place on regular basis. Nice breakfast facility, according to one's own choice. I must recommend this place to stay especially for the solo travellers.
Room tip: HIgher floor have less outside road noise

Spacious, clean rooms, safe lockers, a bunch of activities to do, good breakfast for 5£ and great location especially if you're interested in seeing Shoreditch (which you shall). Free and fast wifi, they have usb sockets, so don't worry about adapters for charging. The staff is very friendly and eager to help you. I had a great time and cannot think of any negative.

It's walking distance from Tower Hill tube station... price is very cheap.... staff is very helping and cheerful... dormitories are neat and clean... the atmosphere of the hostel is very lively.. they have a very spacious bar in the basement.. it has a pool table, table tennis, dart games and many other things to do in the bar... for me, the best part of the hostel is this bar..
Room tip: 6-bed dormitories are the best...

I've stayed at Wombats twice now in London and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's in a great location between two Tube stations, it is clean, fresh, safe and very comfortable. My particular room on this trip was larger than most with a disability-friendly bathroom. The rooms are ensuited and are cleaned daily. During both of my stays I was in a 4 bed room and had no trouble at all from my roommates.
The staff are very friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. The in house amenities including the laundry, kitchen, breakfast area, bar and social areas are great.
The Tower of London is also in walking distance and is an absolute must!
