Description: West India Quay is a thriving part of London in the heart of the Docklands. The Browns building was once a sugar warehouse, built in the early 19th century by Napoleonic prisoners of war. It has a truly distinctive atmosphere and a lovely external seating area overlooking the dock. The site is spread over two floors with a large front external terrace and lower ground floor bar garden. Come and enjoy our innovative take on classic dishes, or join us for one of our legendary cocktails in the heart of the Docklands.

Have visited this restaurant a few times for different occasions and it’s always consistent. The staff are friendly as the food is tasty and reasonably priced for the area, the beef fillet is my favourite. In the summer you can dine outside on West India Quay but if the weather is good you’ll need to get there early to secure a table. It can get very busy with families on a Sunday lunchtime so can get a bit hectic! Worth a visit if you are in WIQ and feeling peckish.

Food is good (not great) but service is variable on good days and terrible on others. Setting is good, right on West India Quay. Go for a beer and fish and chips. Have modest expectations and you’ll be fine.

Lovely lovely food, couldn’t fault it. That was where it ended. The service was absolutely awful, took ages to get served anything - drinks - plates cleared, you name it!
We tried to come back for breakfast the next day, purely for convenience, but we gave up waiting at the door and left!
