Nice place, nice atmosphrere, nice service, great food. Bit hard to get at. Maybe that is why it is good.

Sublime local that has lost none of its charm. Cramped dining room though and supremely busy and noisy, but great fun and the exceptional food is out of this world.

Great value too with three course lunch at £25ish. The chef Bruce Poole has managed to retain the excellence of the opening whilst continually developing the menu and service to establish himself as the number one choice in the local area

Wish we had gone there long ago. We were put off by the travel from central London but nothing could have been easier. The trains to Wandworth Common leave Victoria every 10 mins and the station is 2 mins walk to the restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome by the attentive staff who had just the right blend of formality and relaxation. The food was splendid and very good value. There were 3 of us for lunch. There are not a lot of bottles of wine under £25. But the two we had were splendid. Tables a little close together for my liking but as it was only half full that was not a big problem.

Visit with family 2011 summer, Chez Bruce located out of central London however is very easy to reach because is next to train station.

Location is perfect, very nice green garden in front of the restaurant.

Somelier is very knowledgeable, give us very aromatic and dry white wine which match with our food.

The seafood was fresh and using very simple and yummy sauce which we liked it so much. Will visit here again in the next holiday.

I went here for a Christmas meal and we had one of the earlier sittings. The food was good as you would expect but not exceptional. Unfortunately I found the atmosphere was really dry which really dampened the evening. It is also very expensive for what it is. With restaurants like Trinity just around the corner I think Chez Bruce has some work to do to justify the prices
